Up 'til about 5 minutes ago, I never heard of Whyte Horses. I heard this TERRIFIC cover (I'm working on a playlist of every cover of Ça Plane Pour Moi I can find... AND - lest we forget, Elton Motello's, Jet Boy Jet Girl). I love Chrystabell's voice, and her almost monotone as she sings this. It really gives the track a great feel. You have a quality very much like the Raveonettes, & your outfits, (1970s) tres elegant... Both of you look like you're having so much fun. You've just earned a new fan. You took a classic bit of 80s nostalgia, and by simply using a (simpler) guitar-based arrangement, made it sound terrific - again. Thank you for proving rock will not die!
@@alpakaracka6742 Pointless. May as well just listen to the original. This adds nothing, although I am sure it's fun in concert. If I got two copies of exactly the same CD, I give one away. Don't need two. Ditto this recording. Don't need this and the original. I prefer the original anyways. Has much more of an edge to it
@@ceneg Nicer musical arrangement, more poppy, and some people prefer a female voice; especially with the nice harmony betwixt them. I much prefer this to the original, as I also prefer the cover by Maeder as I think it is "edgier" than the original and more high energy. But, to each their own, non?
The original singer of the song is lou deprijck. As recently won in a long lasting court case. You can tell Plastic doesn’t sound the same as the original song.
this actually good...ooooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..
Savoir Faire meets the Beach Boys. These ladies are fantastic! Dang, love the fuzzy solo!!!
Très agréablement surpris! Excellent cover!
If ABBA had bratty kids and they wanted to rebel but the lived in Chelsea 😂😂😂
That is so true

I wish you good luck in collecting all of the covers. There are loads.
Plastic Bertrand's "Ca plan pour moi" was released in 1977, prior to Elton Motello's "Jet Boy, Jet Girl" (1978).
Try 'Plastic Christmas' by The Rubettes, it may surprise you.

Excellente reprise d'une des meilleures chansons du répertoire français (rien de moins).
(Belge...)
Honnêtement c'est la pire version que j'ai entendu 😂😂
Allez écouter par exemple Maeder, c'est autre chose.

All the edges have been sanded off. You could sing this version in church during communion.
Jamais Jamais. Non non mais il est un bonne cover.
How about a cover of jet boy jet girl? Much more fun
They got produced along side eachother. Lou Deprijck was only able to launch Plastic Bertrand later on, since he needed a face.
Yes! Or jet punk jet bitch by fidlar for fun
A very faithful cover, but why?

Sooooooo slooooooooooow
Might've been a good idea to actually DO something original instead of a copycat cover the better sounding original.
The original is sung by a dude and is more languid soooo it's pretty different.
You’re always complaining about everything
Lame one
this sucks!!
