I'm a beginner and soon going to do my own make up at my wedding as the make up artist in my area just make the bride look 5 times fairer than the original complexion, And they never use primer, never bake or use setting spray. They also use foundation containing spf which we all know causes a white cast in the photographs. You gave me some confidence. I'm very nervous about the eye makeup. Hopefully I'll get it right :)

Makeup artists charge a bomb for creating a look that one can easily create at home with some practise and knowledge of make-up products. I would say if you're doing your own makeup, you must use an eye primer with a good face primer. Complete it with your setting spray and your makeup won't budge
