    Hi, Carla, thank you for doing one of your great SWMs! I was stitching on my own HAED - my first! - while listening to you and glancing at your beautiful project every now and then. I'm still completing the first page, just under 300 000 stitches to go LOL But it's so addictive even if it will certainly take me around seven or eight years to finish it. I hope you can keep stitching on your focus projects, they are both utterly stunning!

      Thank you so much, it's so nice to hear from you. It's a long journey which is somehow made nicer when sharing the ups and downs of it! 🌻

    You enable me so much with your stitch with me!!! I just purchased your riverwalk that I saw you stitching on! Reminds me of San Antonio river walk here… and this one is tickling me FOmo!!! 😊

    Hi Carla! Just wanted to say I love watching your videos . I’ve been following for quite some time and you are my favorite flosstuber to stitch with. Thank you for your content 😊

    Love watching your SWM. love all the patterns that you have, I agree about choosing what you want to stitch. I have purchased some needleminders. How about putting up a community post and mentioning it in your videos when you have added more.

    Hi Carla! Lovely to hear you and stitch with you again! I love your SWMs, I never find them boring. Audiobooks don't grip me either but I do think your voice would be perfect for audiobook reading, that's if you need another job alongside the needleminder factory hehe. I'm so looking forward to warmer, longer and brighter days too. Misty sounds like my toddler who HAS to listen and watch her ABCs songs while eating breakfast because otherwise there'll be murder going on in the house🤣 Today I didn't let her watch and she was cranky for most of the day.... Thanks so much for the mention once again xxx

      Aw I can just imagine her.. Cutie! Yes, why not take on another job haha. I have thought about doing a "calming, de-stress" audio series but that seems to be a lot harder than it sounds.. 😅

    I know what you mean about not wanting to do what you want to do- I sit at work wanting to stitch all day and then when I get home...I just don't want to stitch! Nikki crafts isn't making videos right now but she is posting on Instagram. I'm happy to see whatever kind of videos you post! Happy stitching 💜

      Thank you my dear. Yes it's a complicated thing. I'm now thinking I might swap out OUAF for A place of her own mini, once I get a finish. Sorry just can't cope mentally with huge ones right now. Yours looks fantastic. 🥰

    Hi Carla! I saw the video in which you decided to cut this one in half, so when I saw this picture, I had to catch up on your progress! Looks great!
    I am just starting my full coverage journey. Yikes! I’ve been a stitcher for at least 40 years. I never truly liked the full coverage, but the patterns are really improving! I just purchased from Contemporary Stitch A Kaleidoscope of Butterflies 🦋. It’s very reminiscent of Marie Antoinette wearing a paper hat, surrounded by butterflies. They give you the option of a full color which was about 250 colors or the fewer colors, which is 147!
    I couldn’t find the pre-gridded fabric in the size I needed. I’m doing the 28 count version. So I just chanced it with eBay.
    I would love it if you could share with us newbies how you got started on your full coverage journey, tips on what you think is really helpful. And websites that you source your fabric and frames. Etc…
    I appreciate that you give yourself grace when it comes to choosing which one you stitch on, and how you don’t feel guilt for ufo-ing what doesn’t bring you joy. I’m going to have to check my charity shops for unfinished projects!
    Thank you for sharing your journey! 🫶🏻🪡

    My sister does the c2c crochet blankets, but the ones with the pictures. I prefer the mosaic crochet patterns, but I haven't touched a crochet hook in years as I hurt my left shoulder and neck and never got back into crocheting.
    I haven't been bored with my stitching yet. I've been doing my version of the Temperature and Monopoly games and have found it has kept me focussed. I also started the Fox & Rabbit free SAL to do something different to full coverage.

      Sounds good. I'm curious now i'll have to lookup the fox and rabbit SAL.

    Hi Carla, I'm rather dull, I don't ever get bored. I love my xstitch so much, I just love doing it. I've got two on the go, Four Seasons HAED, and Ornamental Butterfly Peach also a HAED. I'm like you, I don't get the 99 new starts and spend the next 20,000 years on them. I'd rather have one and finish it in two years. Sense it's Four Seasons, it's always current. Love your cat, she's sooooo cute!

    • @TheStitchyWitch
      @TheStitchyWitch  5 дней назад

      Love that Four Seasons charts, seen lots of times and so impressive, you rotate it around on the wall four times a year I am guessing! 😊

    • @solarwinds-
      @solarwinds- 4 дня назад +1

      @@TheStitchyWitch Well, I rotate it around in my Nurge hoop, not done yet. Then I'll rotate it around on the wall when finished, you're correct, spot on!

    love this chart. I have the same issue sometimes with audiobooks - I lose focus and miss a chapter, or I dislike the narrator and can;t get into it
