what smokin deal was there on aluminum wrench i could use one. the iron ones get heavy after a while overhead LOL
I got a mix of plumbing tools off a plumber for what worked out to be 20.00 per tool. 18in wrench, few different copper cutters all ridgid.
@@ThatFixItGuy ohh yeah i think i saw that a good deal I would rather have quality used tools made in america than the new chinese made junk from harbor freight
I totally get that Greg. Happy Easter.
Awesome video brother. It’s always nice to see people helping their neighbors. You don’t see that much anymore.
Thanks bro! I loving living on our street. Everyone is this way. Makes for nice living. Happy Easter!
I loved it when you said, 'you don't use pipe dope with Teflon tape'.,the way you said it, you sounded just like your buddy Josh -) I loved it...
Lol! Yeah it is such a good “voice of the troll”.
Waiting for part 2.. permanent fix… you rock..
Thank you! You did the hard work!
I can do that, if I had access to lex tools. You make it look easy.
Question: Do you just fill with dirt, or Gravel around and beneath the House Valve?
A "short" part 2 with filling and installing the Riser would have been nice...
I wish I was around when he filled it. About a foot of gravel underneath that valve so if you ever wanted to use that drain port you could. I went out of town so I will see if it’s done befor I get back. Happy Easter.
Good video! I learned some things. 👍🏻 I hope you will show the permanent fix, if you are involved with that.
It will come out next Saturday. Thank you blue cat!
Great video! Just a fyi stop and waste valves are not permitted underground and it’s because of back flow contamination. Otherwise great vid!
Nice work. What makes this work temporary? I like the black poly ( HDPE ) - cheaper than pex (though you need to buy a roll which unless you do more than 1 house probably doesn't make sense). Pex A ( expansion pex ) also has more plastizer than pex B which could leach into water more readily than pex b. Crimp pex is nice and the tools are cheap just need to upsize for the interior diameter connections. Worst is propress with the o-rings - might as well sharkbite.
The trench was not done yet. And we needed some tracer wire. I’ve never heard of the plastizer leaking into the water with type A. I’m going to have to look into this.
Nicely done! Do you have an affiliate link to the headless chicken?
😂 I wish!
👍👍👍👍
Thank you.
Great video Brian, those are some nice ratcheting pliers. I got a quick question for you at my sisters house used to if you turned the water off at the meter at the street it stopped the flow now if you turn it off it lets a little slowly seep by and build up pressure. If I call my local county water department are they the ones who are supposed to repair that problem?
Yep Britt I would give them a call. They are the ones that replace that. Happy Easter to you and your family.
