Oh my God, THANK YOU! I've been watching reviews for different gloves left and right, but this is the first I've seen that breaks down exactly what the differences between the models are AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, what those differences actually MEAN for the average consumer. Thank you so much for this!
Thank you for making this video dawg, put everything in one video simply and efficiently, don't have to search for each model and look up a review of each, all I had to do was watch this, thank you brotha, Jesus loves you, Have a good day ✝️❤️❤️
@@scolesdang haha i know, that model is great, but i just compare the bgv1 with bgv16 because their padding is muay thai form, the bgv18 is a little bit like boxing classic gloves
I bought my first pair of Fairtex gloves in Bangkok from an official Fairtex store. Was very disappointed. I had the chance to try on a BGV14 and loved how it felt, but I bought a BGV6- the glove I was dreaming of getting- and I regret getting it in 12oz instead of 16oz.....Not enough cushion for the knuckles and when I weighed the gloves one was actually 13oz and the other was like 11 or 14....Wouldve expected sketchy quality like that if I didn't buy it from the official store but you saying its handmade explains to me why the quality isn't always consistent even when its purchased in Thailand.
@@scolesdang is the bgv14 good for the heavy bag? and which glove size should i get? i'm 5'4" but stocky like a wrestler around 140 lbs ,i want a glove that i could hit hard with. hand circumference 8".any other recommendations for models or different brand gloves?
This is genuine, gives me information in the most human way I love it. Think I’m leaning towards the BGV16 (as opposed to BGV1), does anyone have any thoughts on this?
My son is 15yo, 6'3",around 250lbs, knuckles 4.5" wide, around 8.5" hands length. He suffered a thumb and wrist fracture 2 years ago, so he wants good wrist support. He just started training Muay thai, he haves zero experience punching. He's using Fairtex BGV5 16oz right now because they are the only ones that fit him right on his huge hands..... I love your videos and your knowledge and would love for you to recommend another pair of gloves for my huge boy... Thank you in advance!! I really hope you help us out!!
Hey , I’m really torn between two different gloves . I do Muay Thai but did a lot of boxing training in the past . I hit hard and am a heavier build . However , my hands are very small in comparison to my body (like I can wear my kids small gloves just not comfortably ). My favorite glove is the f day bgv11 and I’m so sold on it - I’m just worried it may be too big even if I order a smaller ounce size . The other option is one I’m not sold on but says it’s essentially the same as the aura glove but it’s bgv20 leather glove . Since it’s designed smaller for a woman should I get that one or my dream glove (the f day :-) ? Very torn on the two . I’m just now starting Muay Thai back and I want to have a great glove that helps me really stick to it . I’m essentially a beginner all over with good boxing techniques. Any advice ?
How does the size of the BGV14's and 16's compare to the 1's? I want a compact glove (the outside - not just the hand space) like my 1's and don't know if I should choose the 14's or 16's.
Awesome video mate!!!! Have you had any experience with the BVG20's (pastel blue) ? Thinking of getting for mostly bag and pad work. Would be interested in your thoughts or experience.
@@scolesdang Thanks for the quick reply! That's good to know, not so obvious on the website. Would've been a little embarrassing! I still think the colour is great tho. Take care bro!
Massive. 10oz is very small. I see old school boxers use these for bag work sometimes. Otherwise I don’t see them used too often unless it’s for a fight
You are the only one that did such an amazing review ! By the way i am really skinny at 51 kg / 173 cm tall and i bought a BGV11 (12oz) today and whn i tried it on i was so disappointed. I read that the BGV16 is a smaller glove (like the BGV20) primarily for women. I need a bit of a larger hand compartment but love the looks of the 16s. Are you certain that they're similar to the BGV1? Thanks so much!

Bgv16 is more broken in feel than bgv1, the padding is also softer and more suitable for sparring
The super sparring gloves are the best ones for sparring as far as safety for your partner

Bro do you think fairtex gloves are good for boxing? Im really tempted to buy fairtex
What would you recommend for a person with bigger hands? The bgv18’s? Are they also called the mircofiber gloves?
18s are good size. The model will be dependent on what you’re looking to get from it.
How does the size of the BGV14's and 16's compare to the 1's? I want a compact glove (the outside - not just the hand space) like my 1's and don't know if I should choose the 14's or 16's.
Do you have any information about the new model BGV19? It should be an improved version of the classic BGV1.
I’m not aware of a bgv19 but a bgv9 is their rendition of a Mexican style glove. Longer cuff is featured in this model
Ron Scolesdang the bgv19 is a new glove, similar to the bgv16 by the look of it but it looks really compact
You should make one for Twins
I’ve had bgv1 and bgv9 (heavy hitter) I hated the 9 but loved the bgv1. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it 😜
Bgv1 is a classic. You can’t go wrong
What about the fairtex metallic gloves bro??? No one's got a review on that
Which Metallics??
those r the BGV22's
Not the only difference in bgv16 it has a far smaller hand compartment compared to bgv1 and more compact and padding in front
I bought the bgv18 for sparring but what would be good for pad and bag work? BGV1?
Thank you for this comparison video! Very helpful
I need 10oz gloves for big hands. Do bgl6 fit big hands? I need lightweight gloves for speed training
Can u do a review like this on different twins gloves?
Thank u in advance
Would the BGV14 still be good for muay thai or is the cuff too big?
It’s perfectly fine! It’s long so it’ll help block kicks to the head
Awesome video mate!!!! Have you had any experience with the BVG20's (pastel blue) ? Thinking of getting for mostly bag and pad work. Would be interested in your thoughts or experience.
I haven’t used them but I’ve used the bvg12 which is the male version. The pastel blue has a smaller hand compartment initially designed for women.

i have bgv1 breathable 12 oz but it looks 8 oz and scaled 10 oz i reckon bgv1 12 non breathable it is better?
It’s all preference. Most of their models are so similar most wont be able to tell.
Still handmade and real leather?
What do you think about the Glory glove? Greetz from Germany ✌🏻
Between the bgv9 and the bgv11 which would you choose for bag work?
I like the bvg11. The bvg9 is a little too long for me

Do you happen to have a link to good vendor/website of these gloves? I not tryin to buy any fakes. Thank you very much in advance.
Which glove would you recommend for bigger hands? I’m 6’5” 200lbs
Thanks for the video, awesome
Does the fairtex F day gloves have box?
Yes they do. The packing is really cool and it comes with dog tags
Is the bgv 18 bigger than the bgv6 ?
What does punchers glove mean? Since we punch with all gloves?
More aerodynamic due to shorter cuffs, narrower build, and rounder top.
Is there a big difference regarding the size (width, tightness) between the 16oz and 10oz on the bgv1?
Massive. 10oz is very small. I see old school boxers use these for bag work sometimes. Otherwise I don’t see them used too often unless it’s for a fight

I can't understand the meaning of the "hand made" they don't sew by hand, they use sew machine. Everybody do the same.
Most gloves are made with an automated machine. These are handmade because a human is constructing them instead of a computer
