I hate colored strings. they don’t sound as good as regular nylon, the color often wares off, they feel bad, quality is usually sub-par and in my opinion they don’t really look good because they don’t stand out enough.
There´s a tiny error in the fall of troy riff. The last note is harmonic on 7 fret but tablature says 5. Great content, btw!! Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorials.
Yup. I would usually play it hybrid picked. Love that technique. However, because this video is aimed at those less adept at guitar I thought I'd keep it all pick.
Hey Steve, great video! Do you have any tips for beginners playing bass? I love the style and technique of math rock, especially the tapping, but I sometimes feel limited with just 4 strings.
Love this. You should check out sleepy dog if u haven’t. U could Play some of his songs like space cadet or something else but he does a lot of great work.
I love listening to math rock but seeing math and beginner in the same sentence gave me a surprise. Then seeing tera melos madr me burst lmao Can't wait to try struggle to learn these. 😂
Is there a specific way of picking the F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. riff? Because I play it mostly using economy picking which results in almost a sweep-like motion and is much different than the picking used in the video and I'd also say that it sounds more like the original version.
