Turns out, 2 years of delicately propping up the cord like some kind of impossible children's puzzle while simultaneously wanting to smash the tablet into bits could have all been avoided by spending $8.99 on Amazon and spending 10 minutes to repair it. Nice video, you're a champion

How do you do one with the very thin bezel? Nothing really to get under. It’s a few mm thick. Model number not marked. Battery dead. Charge port damaged when user fell asleep and it hit the floor. Just don’t see a good way into it even with the blade tool
I did this and my sons tablet still doesnt charge. Maybe its the cable or i did something wrong.The cable goes into the port now but wont charge at all any tips or help would be appreciated
Try post on fb buy sell for broken tablets of the model you need. People will either give it free or super cheap, and just harvest the port from there. That’s what I had to do, except I had another way from my other kid that had water damage. Harvested the port, good to go.
Went to the shop and inwas told a screen replacement was manditory because it is impossible to take off the back screen without the screen/display logging off for good, smh, got it done in about 20 mins.
Fkin scammers. Instead of doing honest work, they burned a future customer and anyone else you tell it too. No recommendations coming from your way that’s for sure. Either they were trying to hustle, or they’re that inept and didn’t know. Either way is a red flag to never go back there.

I followed all instructions and plugged in tablet and it tells me the device temperature is too low and once it returns to normal temperature it will start charging. Any advice on that? Thank you. 😊
I'm having the same problem is there anyway go know if the new charging port is no good or it's just user error because I'm inclined to think it's me LOL even though the video was great and this was quick it's not working so I'm sure I did something off lol

So I got the right model but it takes longer to charge now pretty sure it would take like 2 hrs b4 maybe less but not its 7 hrs or 30 plus hrs I've changed wires and blocks guess I gotta replace it again 😅 😭

Some time if it is not properly plugged the it will not work . Just make sure.

Check the battery connection. And if that is good then May b the charging port is not good . Some time the new charging port is not good as well.
Try hold power and volume button. Also try another charger. Worked for me in the end. thanks
