Great video, couldn't have replaced my door speaker without watching this installation guide. 🤘
Really helpful video. I was actually looking for information of how to remove the door panel in order to replace my damaged wing mirror.
Wish I had found this video earlier. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to remove the passenger side door card. Every guide I could find only mentioned the drivers side which has screws in different places.
sho I feel on edge after watching this. Way too rushed man. These are the reasons I do everything on my car myself! That door panel now has a bunch of broken clips that need to be replaced but probably never will be, leaving the door feeling less solid to open and close, introducing more rattles than the Z4 already has.
Love the Bav videos but the speed at which you undertake this job just makes it seem rushed, stressed me out watching it!

My tweeter is hardwired to the crossover wires which does not fit into the small hole at the back center console.
whats the sound like with the upgrade guys, anyone done this? Would we still need a sub under seat or in rear trunk for basslines?
Hello I have recently purchased a 2013 Z4. It is missing a subwoofer/power amp in the trunk. I has 3 cables in the trunk and I think 1 of which is a data cable. Could anyone tell me what should I get as a replacement unit that will utilize all three cables? Thanks in advance.
Need to inform viewer harness are needed for the front midrange to connect the tweeters, and the driver side I believe have additional screws needed to remove ( I think), still have not able to remove yet.
Found 2 screws located underneath the hand rest. Finally connected the two new tweeters to the existing mid range. Good to go for now.

that bit where he says no its not a bolt its just super tight.. yeah thats wrong, there is a bolt and i now have( and the guys whos car is in this video) a broken mounting bracket.. nice one basher, thankfully the bm has a lot of mounting points but super pissed a so called expert encourages just yanking it out and doesnt bother correcting himself on this video, there is no way he doesnt know he broke that mounting point
Hello, could someone clarify how many screws there are ? 4 in the passenger side and 2 in the driver side ? I cannot find more than that. Thanks
Ok I found 2 more on driver side for a total of 4 on each side.
Well yes the stock speakers distort so changed all to Stage 1 and still the distortion and unfortunately the amp cannot be upgraded to the new Revenant Pro.. I just spent hours and serious money installing these speakers with no change. 😡 I’m very disappointed!

Guys I’m a girl and I’m tryna replace the middle back speaker, when I bought it there was no speakers or wires in the little panel in the back, not sure what parts im supposed to get (obviously the speaker but what about the wires to connect)
