I own the car above and I have to say the system sounds excellent. Because I enjoy a lot of bass I also installed a powered sub in the trunk and with bimmertech’s support we tuned the DSP so that the bass coming from the cabins 8’s are dialed back and the 10” in the trunk is controlled using a gain knob installed in the cabin…..The bass is thunderous 😊
Man, I was waiting for an installation video for some time on the G29 Z4 I have a 2022 Z4 M40i and that year was the year where options were limited on cars and I got screwed and beat. Now I have to upgrade my speaker system but didn't want to tackle the task without seeing done. Now i'm ready to pull the trigger.

Hi, Reach out to our sales guys to order ASD deactivation coding. If you have a G29 it will have to be done via a coding cable. If you have some other BMW model - it might be done with a harness. Our sales team will know by VIN.
@@bimmer-tech Yes, I sheared off the glue (it's like vitrified) with pliers, and re-glued a few pegs that broke off. Already tested everything and everything seems to work (I have to equalise a bit, but the car is still half open, I'll reassemble it between today and tomorrow).
Bummer Tech and Alpha One, are always staying innovative. Can’t wait to upgrade my 2016 E89 Z4. Definitely on my wishlist. 😄🙌🏽👍🏽

Is it worth adding sound deadening at any stage?
The doors looked pretty bare.
The speakers are designed to work perfectly fine without them, but sure, good sound deadening will make it even better :D
Just installed my Alpha one amplifier and i honestly like the sound of it 100% but my ASD went loud too what do I need to deactivate it?

Is this upgrade compatible with no Harman Kardon on a Z4 G29?
Both speakers and amp are compatible, but the best way to find out what you can get is to decode your car's VIN on our website :)
Update: on my G29 2023 also the back mid is incredibly glued
