First let me say... I work at a Chevy Dealership now, and have worked at a GMC Cadillac Buick store, VW, Volvo, and Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram... I know it sounds like his Tesla has sooo many issues... But after 12 years of auto sales, for multiple manufacturers... I can assure you 💯% these are MINOR ISSUES and MINOR FIXES... ALL Manufacturers have issues and recalls... THE GREATEST THING about TESLA'S is there are NO POWERTRAIN ISSUES!!! I have seen BRAND NEW GMC Denali's have a blown engine within a week of purchase, transmissions go out, valves, headers, pumps, belts, compression issues, etc... ALL ON BRAND NEW ICE vehicles... and on top of that... monitors go out, lighting issues, vibrations, clicks, sounds, etc... When there are POWERTRAIN issues especially, they are not easily resolved and can take months to fix, and sometimes customers just have to live with it... So imagine the issues that Jason is mentioning here in his video then x that with POWERTRAIN issues 😮
My rule of thumb is: anything can break as long as it won't leave me stranded. Sure, it would be better not to have any issues at all, but if it does, it's not that bad if I can fix it later. So agreed, the powertrain is the most important aspect.
Does the heater blow hot in the winter? Is the fan motor powerful? Like the idea of the heater being turned on in the vehicle with your phone. Starting to think one of these might be in the near future.
@ what you just said is not true at all. I own three Teslas and the fact is sometimes they take longer to defrost than a normal gas car. Why in the world did you feel like it was necessary to come in the comments and troll people?
What other common issues do you think are worth noting w the new M3 LR? I’m think of purchasing one and I would like to know of other common things that u read abt that are minor and usually common.
I also purchased a 2024 Tesla Model 3 long range all-wheel drive highland edition and have had a few speaker issues, a loose panel issue in the passenger door and some vibrations which are being taken care of by Tesla mobile service... These things do happen everyone... But what I would say is these are minor issues in comparison to what could happen and does happen with an ice vehicle
@RONderluck Makes sense... I would have guessed the same to be honest. Speaker issues, vehicle panel alignment issues, and a few rattles/sound distortion areas... Plus mine didn't have the Dual Motor badge on it lol 🤣 It has sense been put on. I have a great Mobile Service guy, but still... Speaker, rattle, panel alignment issues, are things you have to chase and take the car apart internally to get resolved. Being that I like everything to be perfect on the interior of my vehicle, having to do this type of work on a brand new car, first mode refresh year or not, it doesn't sit well with me
@@jeffperry3205If you’re talking about 3rd party winter tires then yeah, it’s mainly for range, but from Tesla directly 18’s have a better battery than the 19’s (LG vs Panasonic), meaning running a Model 3 on 19’s would cost you 50-60 miles of range compared to the 18’s, as well as charging performance.
@@Foodranthey work perfectly for me, they’re capacitive buttons so if you don’t hold them for long they work perfectly (still gonna order S3XY stalks because the buttons suck ass for turn signals)

After owning this, I now know why people love EVs and Teslas lol
Less moving parts = Less maintenance/required repairs
What do you mean other than those things? You mentioned like 20 different things why you went to get it fixed. All of that in 10k km is crazy
These are very small issues lol
Bro I got that terrible bass rattle in my rear too… taking it this Friday been dealing with it since I got it
Theres videos out there of people adding foam pieces which helps but I'm not trying to open up my back area lol
@@automotivecarreviews I just took it to get serviced. They ended up swapping the whole rear parcel for another one. I’m jammin now 🔊

Yes it blows hot and yes it’s powerful.
Yes it does, heats up pretty quickly too
A Tesla heats up faster than any can you’ve ever driven. No need for a snow brush, use defrost most and watch everyone else scrape ice off their car.

Was your Model 3 made in China or the US?
@RONderluck Good question. I have to look it up
I will find out and let you know.
@@bigjayroc77 China made ones don’t have many issues. However US made ones have nothing problem after problem.

Why do you need winter tires this isn't a performance?
Always gotta have winters
@@automotivecarreviews why did you get the 18s and not the 19s? Wheels.
For range mainly but I might get the 19s for summer next year if I can find them.

turn signals don’t work for shit
