The key was your statement about 65% on the aileron/elevator. I found it very twitchy and, with the large lifting body, any pitch or roll was significant. This is my first xfly and wish the setup in the instructions were better at toning down the AL/EL. Other than that, it competes with the F22 64 in flight characteristics and floats forever. BTW great landing. Oh one more...I've stress-tested the gear on landings and they are solid!
Thanks. That’s typically my rate setting on most edfs. Too much throw makes the flying very twitchy. And I use 10% expo all around on all edfs. Just to maintain the same feel. But that’s a pilot’s personal preference. “Stress tested” lol. Good to know…
It took off from grass fine and it would taxi but to save battery on our rough grass I always just walk the planes out. The next flight will be trying a hand launch and I’ll post.
