    "If you woke up from a come, this is the new Fuji GFX medium format", "capable of tracking eagle on a vitamin at 15 frames per second"
    Brilliant, love the expressions! above all, excellent review, joy to watch and rewatch and learned alot about this medium format system.
    Looking forward to brows your old / new videos about how to process the medium format raw files / workflow session from creative🦄 to technical aspects💙!

    Outstanding review boss. I give you credit because reviewing a camera is an extremely difficult thing to do getting all the details and specs right and having image samples and knowing what you're talkin about.

    Excellent review!! You covered a ton of information. Yours was the first to comment on the problems with Rolling Shutter. Thank you.

    I can't wait until they have a 4k version. 65mm IMAX theatre quality footage. 😱
    They should make two versions, one geared for photographers and one for video like how Sony has A7R for photo and A7S for video because for video they can revolutionize video as it could be a cheap alternative to the ALEXA 65 which you can only rent not buy.

    Ivan, excellent review and really beautiful photographs, especially so the forest photographs, stunning! I rented the GFX50S for use in paddock and pit lane photographs for my last pro motor race of 2017 and was very impressed with the image quality, and also ease of use. The camera just got out of the way and let me work.

    EXCELLENT review. I use the 32-64mm f4 for landscapes. For portraits, would you recommend the 110 mm f2 or the 120mm f4? I'm considering one of them.....thank you, Sal in USA.

      Thanks! I haven't used 110mm but only 120mm for a short time and not for portraits... 120 is great if you think you will shoot macro, product photos or something similar. For portraits only I would go for 110mm. F/2 will give you even more subject isolation for longer distances, for example torso or even entire body shots.

    I prefer the quick release of the neckstrap of the Hasselblad 500 C/M;

    Is it really a huge jump if i change from full frame into medium format mirrorless? just consider to buy phase one for commercial work but the price is near 4 times than fuji Gfx...please suggest me :) thank you mate!

      Depends what you have now and what you expect to be doing with new gear... For example Canon 5Ds vs GFX is a huge jump in DR department, D850/A7R2 vs GXF less so. I have never used Phase One but I would be skeptical towards it because of the law of diminishing returns.

      Camerahoarders i come from Canon 5d mark iii, now i really think for a really huge jump into medium format class... phase one is a huge brand and quality, but this Fuji GFX sounds appealing for me (in terms of price and stunning quality) do you have any problem with this fuji after long term?

      I used it only for around 10 days or so, then it went back to local Fuji dealer, but I don't think there were any major complaints from actual users who bought it. It is almost year and a half since it was introduced, we would have know by now if something was wrong with it. I say go for it! :)

    This is a bloated full frame because it is not a medium format. A modern FF can beat is price wise and you won't notice the difference. As far as I know of, all native lenses do not provide a shallower depth of field than a f 1.4 lens FF lens.

    • @telemaq76
      @telemaq76 5 лет назад +2

      if you dont see the differences, save your money and dont go medium format, it s not for you yet. the day you ll understand the differences it ll be time to upgrade

    • @oliverlison
      @oliverlison 5 лет назад

      @@telemaq76 yes, you are right. The camera is not for me. It is too bulky and in the end not worth it for me. Sure we all want image quality but it is always a compromise.
      If you have the money or you can earn money back then it is a wonderful tool.
