In an Interview with Roman saini and other toppers,she herself said..I consider myself extremely lucky..And she said that more than 50% is luck that worked for her in another lecture she was delivering in an institute.She also said that she was guided personally by the older brother who is also an Ias.She was not confident of clearing mains..so she filled 2016 form as well. She is a talented student no doubt..but Luck matters A LOT in case of UPSC CSE...PEACE..

Akshat jain CSE 2018 air 2 said that for Indian art and culture NCERT 11 and Nithin Singhania would be sufficient for prelims and mains, and one can go through old ncert 11 and 12 history to study only culture. Artika shukla studied from 5 sources yet she said none of the questions came from the material she studied, and finally she said that we have to be selective. That's the point. Everybody got their own way of prep. My request is people go through previous years question paper and then make a strategy. Don't just go because toppers did the same way. These people framed their own strategy and conquered the CSE.

Akshat jain CSE 2018 air 2 said that for Indian art and culture NCERT 11 and Nithin Singhania would be sufficient for prelims and mains, and one can go through old ncert 11 and 12 history to study only culture. Artika shukla studied from 5 sources yet she said none of the questions came from the material she studied, and finally she said that we have to be selective. That's the point. Everybody got their own way of prep. My request is people go through previous years question paper and then make a strategy. Don't just go because toppers did the same way. These people framed their own strategy and conquered the CSE.
