    Lessons :
    1) You have to interact and communicate to learn how to tackle people.
    2) What matters is your aptitude & attitude.
    3) Spend 4-5 hrs of quality time that's enough.
    4) Coaching might help (choose a/c to yourself).
    5) Have patience & perserverance it is basic for your Civil Service journey.

    He was my school mate and class mate for 3 years . Still in contact with him. One of rare gems . Wherever he worked he brought some change . God bless him to do more good for people and country . Not just him , all his brothers and family, were always positive people to live with .

    Preparation from night 12 to 4 am speaks, how passionate you are.

    Those who clear civil services like this guy are the ones who really give justice to the job....those who clear with just reading books and reading editorials and magazines..and classes most probably end up collapsing under pressure.......you need to have that ability in you to handle what the job throws at you and that comes only with life experiences not just reading books...it comes with handling situations...not solving mocks...

      Countries that never were under British Colonial rule, dont have such mass scale competitive exams for Civil Services. But these countries Govt Officials are less /not corrupt & are doing far better jobs than Indian IAS officers .

      sawan prakash the point I want to make here is that one doesn’t need an accedemic recoqnisation to succeed in life..Bill, job, and Zakoberg, they are all collage dropouts but still they went on to become very successful, and toppers actually work under them if you don’t know..accedemic certificate does not bring you success, always.

    I had the opportunity to work with him as a Regional Manager of a Bank while he was DM of Mahbubnagar. A simple, honest, workaholic and very patient in hearing and courteous to others while taking decisions.

    I agree that hardwork for these long hours might not be needed back then, but when the crowd appearing for this exam has increased and someone else out there is putting extra hours to be in that 800/5-6lakh. You are automatically pushed to put a hour extra to earn a little extra is what my perspective tells me. This talk is really helpful ♥️. Thank you.

    He is the real hero. Man who neve took study serious or had the chance to study properly. But when he decdied to give the exam and clear it he proved that even average people if study hard can be intellectuals.
