Mam iam 18 years olds and i want to become ias i have given neet and i cracked it and also tsemcet with a good rank but i am going to do bzc in degree because to learn the subject of upsc between my college please mam guide mee🙏🙏💝 and one question mam after bzc degree student is eligible for writing upsc exam please reply 💝💝🙏
Yes u are eligible after bzc degree if u are 21 at that age when u finish the degree
U must be a 21 year old with degree for eligible to sit for this exam
And ur next doubt if u want to prepare upsc along with degree u go with HEC or MEC
This are the degree couces which are similar to upsc syllabus
If u opted bzc as a carrier option u will have only 2 ways either to do PhD or come to teaching field
It's really hard to understand social science subject's with biology as ur graduation
I'm also a btzc graduate with 4 yers of upsc preparation experience
So I know what are the problems u would face in future

Maam it is said that Ncerts and standard books shouldn't be substituted by Coaching notes but recently i have observed that all the requisite info.have been compiled in PW's Prahar 2024 Mains notes so can i replace standard books with these notes?
Hi @mdzunaid2306,
You should never replace standard books, no matter how comprehensive the coaching notes are. Always, go through the standard books first to build the foundation.
There are no substitute of standard books. Coaching notes may be supplement of that books but not the substitute.

Spectrum is more exhaustive, it cannot be replaced. It mostly covers the NCERT content.

No material can replace the basic books as mentioned in the video above. However, it could be a good Supplementary material.

Start from understanding the UPSC syllabus and with the basic books like NCERTs.
At first we have to study Ncert??
You have to read NCERT in selected subjects like Ancient, Medieval History and India & World Geography.
Maam history ncert 6 to 12 krna chya ya nhi 🤔🤔

Start by covering the NCERTs for classes 11 and 12 along with the Spectrum book. If you have additional time, then move on to covering the NCERTs for classes 6-10.
