- When Tommy started thinking about his next personal project he knew it had to be a truck. After much thought and research, it was clear that the 1969 Ford F100 was "the truck”. The Ford F100 had the old-school look and character he was looking for.
The truck has a Cadillac CTS V drive train with over 700 horsepower. Fully updated suspension, customized interior and fully restored and updated exterior.
Tommy has been using the truck as an interactive show piece in partnership with Quaker State.

I love the truck. As said by others the motor is a draw back. I would have put a Ford motor and also standard transmission.
I have my granddads 69 sitting in my barn just waiting for the day to restore it.

Nice looking truck...minus the quaker crap on the door... to bad they cheaped out and stuck yet another yawnable LS under the hood.... must have ran out of money after that fancy door sticker.
I have the same truck with a 429 that's pretty pumped about 430 to the tires but if I go modern I would go with the Roush 5 liter with very minor adjustments that motor will do 800hp and it's Ford but hey each into their own if that's what you like then who cares it makes you happy and it's beautiful.
I’m building a Z06 with a Roush 511IR, hopefully the car will be able to handle that much torque!
love the LS swap! You could spend twice as much on a Ford motor and it'll be harder to adapt and work on....and it'll still be slow. LOL. That's why LS swaps are the way to go on custom builds. Just my opinion/observation

So in other words... he cheaped out and went for an LS swap which is so old its almost the same age as the truck. Yawn.... nice looking on the outside.... cheap on the inside.

It would have been a little cleaner if the passenger side body lines would have matched up with the rest of the truck

Well, If you had given as much thought to the merchandising of the presentation to the integrity of the truck, you'd realize that all the guys who buy a Ford or would restore one because their dad or *grandfather drove one - - would throw up - because they bought a FORD for a reason. So Chevy guys have little interest from the start and Ford guys just asked themselves "What the hell is wrong with this guy? If you want big # go Rousch or go the Ford Racing. Either way, Quaker should have known too. Good luck with the business.
Roush 511irfe would have Been a much better choice, but to each their own I suppose. But u can get your ass, my 68 will remain powered by Ford.
