1967 F100 Rebuild Part 2
• 1967 Ford F100 Rebuild...
This is the rebuild of my 1967 F100 that was given to me as a Christmas gift and my first car when I was 16 years old in 1983. I drove the truck until 1992 and then it sat in my Mom's driveway in West Texas sad and lonely for the next 20 years. In November of 2012 I went back to get it and after 16 months had it on the road again. This is the photo story of bringing it back to life. Авто/Мото
I love the green tailgate, the truck has history!
man those had beautiful lines , I had a 76 and loved her lines
I too had a 67 F-100 240 6-cylinder and three in the tree. I sure do miss that old truck
Working on my 68. Watching this video while I am taking a break.
The video ended too soon. Wanted more. Awesome truck 🤙🏽
Nice Six 7 - you really did a lot of work to get such a fantastic F-100. Sweet machine, indeed.
Absolutely beautiful job! Brings back memories of my dad's 67, especially the teal color. Definitely a labor of love. Well done!
Great video and really nice truck. I'm currently working on a 1977 f100 with a 300 6 cylinder. Restoring to origional while driving it.
Great work! I've got your build saved for my own reference from several years back. Thanks for putting it out here!
AWESOME JOB ! Im in the process of building my 67 F100 now . No one know the time & expense of building one of these old trucks until you've done it !
True inspiration! I'm working on a '71, watching this is great. Congratulations man, nice job.
Jose!!!! Did u get ur truck done
@@Dieselfumes1982 Hi. It’s a long term project and I’ve advanced a lot since I started. Now she has power steering, disc brakes in front, brand new carburetor, lowered her a few inches, new tires and wheels and other few improvements. Still working on the electric system, the engine, interiors and lastly paint. When finished (or near there) I’ll make a video like yours. Thanks for asking!
The most entertaining, un-narrated video I've watched. Great build! Means a whole lot when you pour all of those hours into building it yourself, in love with mine. Good Job
Rolando Paz - Thank you!
Very cool truck !! I am heading from Oregon to northern Cali this Tuesday to get my 69 f 100 swb Finally found a good one at a great price..:)
+plasticaholic Awesome. Check out my blog if you need any reference information. I also have a sizable thread on Fordification.

DeerSlayinRedneck100 - Thank you!
My favourite truck, by far, even in Matchbox Superfast 😃
Nicely played...lots of work, but well worth it.
Hell yea guy, way to keep the original paint and patina. Looks so rad

Awesome truck
Beautiful, wish it was mine. Sweet ride 👍
Damn good job, a great ride!
Love your vid.. Love your truck (i ve got the 71's xlt ) ...love your country!!!!
That's a sweet-looking truck good job👍
Love your truck. My fav body style. Great job
Wow that looks so easy! And it only takes 7 minutes!!! I'm going shopping today
I also have a 67 F100 it's a midnight blue color. But mine was handed down from me from my grandfather. It still cost a lot of money to get it running cause it was parked for 10 years. Nice truck as rebuild
Ethan Loomis Thank you! Old cars will be, and always are, a money pit. You have to love doing it and love the end result of driving it.
Great job. My son and I are working on a 69 F100 longbed that my Dad bought brand new in 1969. I learned to drive in it and we used it on the farm for many years. It is still all original down to the wheel covers and has always been licenced and driven. It iooks to be in similar shape to yours.
Glenn Dickson - Thank you. Good luck on your project.
Nice video brother, Its an inspiration to all F100 owners, and FORD Truck enthusiast alike.
Can't wait to get into my truck. Little bit younger, '71, parked circa '75 due to a minor crash, crazy thing my paw let it sit instead of fixing it... oh well. Great video, gets the blood flowing lol
XxRandomKnivesxX TreeTickler - Thank you sir.
Fantastic video. Great Truck
thanks for saving a beautiful truck
Awesome video and badass Ford!
Lovely job mate! Looks great
and here also comes Aaron Kaufman with f 100 goodness in 2017...
Very cool video ! nice build by the way ! love how you left a lil of that pantina / rust look! Fun video !
Edith Granillo - Thank you!
I totally agree , they're only original once , adds to that sleeper feel too
Que trabajo tan espectacular le hicieron a esa camioneta , cuando las cosas se hacen bien hechas todo se ve súper
Great vid! When you got the space, the tools and the SKILLS, magic happens!
One of the best body styles Ford ever built 67- 72 f100 also some of the best years for the chevy truck!! #Blue Oval Nation
Awesome truck! Great work man
John McCann - Thank you sir!
Great Job! The dash came out sweet. I hope you enjoy the 67 for many years, I know I did. My Dad and I would look for the painted metal grills on the old Fords, and have them Crome plated. As you know Crome don't get you home, but it might get you a little, probably not, but you never know?
Eric Duran - I always wanted to chrome a steel grill. I am digging the patina right now.
man what a f100 you did a amazing job man
It looks like one out of an f-600.
nice truck! i currently have a 69 ranger 100% original a 70 f100 my family bought new and a 65 ford f100. there not for sale but if 1 had to leave it would be the 69. i love your truck! i had a 67 352 auto but sold it
my Geraldine is a 67' 352 custom cab. hell of job buddy..
That was amazing. My own journey into the World Of The Ancient Pickup was an easy stroll in the park in comparison to yours.
Nicholas Horianopoulos - Thank you sir!
hermosa quedó felicitaciones desde Argentina
Very good video! Extra points for Surf Melody by Junior Brown
good looking truck
Nice video... Nice work...
Jason, you have a lot of skills my friend. Thats a good looking body style. Sound deadening deluxe but a roller brush on the dash?! I like that you left the patina intact. A job well done!
Thank you sir! The interior was done with a roller and three coats sanded in between each with a final coat of clear flat out of a spray can. It surprises the heck out of everybody when I tell them what I did.
Nice truck . It is awesome that you did not paint the out side .Very good looking truck .I have a 69 with all crown Vic swap check it out
Love this truck
Well done!
beautiful truck!!!
Ruben Vasquez - Thank you sir!
So cool!!
Thanks for sharing the good result of your restoration project. Good job! except the colors :-)
And it just keeps getting worse!
Seems that coated Patina is the way to go now-a-days, and I am so glad! When I was a kid, a very long time ago, I felt that I was odd liking the Patina!
I don't feel as 'odd' now, knowing that others can appreciate the beauty of it! Speaking for myself, it shows a lot more 'value' than a total 'showpiece'! Which I find them even more attractive, than!
Beautiful girl you have there! I am extremely jealous! You lucky bastard, you! LOL!!!!!;-)~
+Eli Whitney Agreed, paint is over rated.
Nice truck
That was tight ! I wish I knew how to weld and all that he did!
Francisco Arroyo - Thank you! Welding isn't as hard as one would think. A MIG welder on the bottle will make you look like a pro.
If that was the my first ride, and I mean "the very vehicle" I would want it the same way it was when I was young. All the imperfections, but mechanical sound. No breaking down like back in the day, fuck that ! Lol !
Agreed. My wife still wants me to paint it, but that ain’t happening.
Very fitting music
so beautiful pick up !! excelente job, and name of song ?
My favorite truck. Should have kept my 72 shortbed.
That's gold in them thar hills
Good job!!!
It was originally “pebble tan”. The one previous owner before me actually wreck the truck and it was resprayed over the old paint with a newer ford color. The pebble tan looks a little “pink” and looks a little feminine.
Excellent! 👍👍
Hope I can get my 1969 f100 in the same condition. Mine has a lot more dings and rust damage since it is the family farm truck since it was new
+Turningwrenches On old cars, The good thing about rust is that nobody has expectations when they see it. Best part is rust will roll down the road just fine.
Dig the truck!! First year for that body style.. I have the same truck and it's 100% original everything.. Needs some love but it's a runner.. 240 6 cylinder 3 on the tree no rust well kept.. Love the Surf music and I'm pro guitar player and recored a Surf album.. Great vid brother!!!!
Robby Fair Thanks for the for the complements! If you are ever playing in the Fort Worth area, let me know. Love live music!
No, it's my wife's and she is in love with the truck,,
Don't know your wife, but I'm a fan. Smart lady.
trk. turned out great! got 10 minutes to help me do mine? lol. after almost 10 yrs. of patching & driving my '72 short box, it's finally down to frame. i hope mine comes out as good as you'rs. i'm putting back a late 351w, & '78 power disc brake whole suspension. supposed to be a bolt in swap.
Very nice job
John Carden - Thank you sir!
Espectacular felicitaciones
*FORD F100 AND FORD FALCON* _¡FOR EVER!_
Cool build new subscriber here
yours and mine look identical, i have the camper special
do you have a part list I'm gonna be restoring one and it will be my first
Que belleza de carro, saludos
very good.
67 68 69 steel grills hard to beat that look
John Moorr - Best part about that on. I found it at a Pick n Pull for $40. When I handed them the money, I took off running.
You heated the springs in front and took off some leafs in back? Or did it the expensive better way?

Awesome job sir! I have a 1976 Ford F100 with the 4.9L 300 L6 and in need of the vacuum diagram for this truck. Is there any way I can get in contact with your "Ford Resource Library" guy, Mr. Joe Henderson? I want to make sure I route the vacuum lines correctly, as this year was the first year with the emission system. Yikes! Hahaha.
Nice project...understanding wife....dining room table work bench.
mysdak - Yes she is awesome and was the instigator for this project. It was 20 degrees out the weekend I wanted to work on my wiring harness so the dining table was converted.
I'd love to hear about how you lowered the rear. was it easy? Im thinking about doing this for my 69.
+truckman63 Sorry for the delayed response. There is a complete write up on it at www.1967f100.com
Jason Parker Okay thanks you and it's fine.
Jason Parker link is down? I was hoping to get pointers on lowering my 71 F250 a bit..
Very nice truck I have a 67 as well how low did you go suspension wise and I live in the Ft Worth area too
I put drop axles on the front and removed one spring coil, the front end is in perfect alignment and this lowered it about 4". The video is with out the coil removed. The back was done with an axle flip kit which netted about 6".
What size tires?
Nice truck amigo I have one like it I'm working on ...are you from the texas
Nice👍🏽
Why did that have a mopar big block in it?
More Trucks in my Channel!
How long did this take you I have this exact truck but mines a sports custom
no entiendo los comentarios pero el video esta super puro clasico
I don't understand you either (until I hit the translate button) but thanks for the complement!
Luis Manuel Lara.
