@@midlifecustoms you deserve all the appreciation and appraisals my friend you’ve basically turned scrap metal into automotive historical beauty I believe in things having same energy as us and I believe that truck loves you man I believe that truck is grateful she’s not gone to scrap metal or pulled apart for spare parts the rest is history probably everything you’ve done on her will be forever since we long gone much blessings I’ve learned a lot watching what you’ve done and for that I am also grateful 🙏🏼
Very cool. Makes me miss the '67 short bed I had and makes me want to go find another! Although I don't miss the lowered twin I-beams I had under mine.
Thank you Don D. I know exactly what you mean. I sold my first 66 Mustang and always regretted it. That was the reason for my first restoration video. I found another one and had to restore it. ruclips.net/video/q9VnDqMUWMQ/видео.html
Nice truck! I wished someone would modify the fenders on one of these in which the fenders and the side of the hood are welded together and a new body line cut on the top of the hood to separate the fender and hood similar to modern trucks.
Amazing. Wish I knew an 1/8 about restoration that you do. I have a 78 F-100 4.9L and I was wondering if you can tell me what connectors (female) the temp sensor and oil sensor plug into that go into the firewall. Both are missing connection wires so I can’t tell. Thanks and keep posting how to videos!!
@Bryan McCauley thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately I do not know the connectors. Have you tried to follow the wires out starting from behind the gauge and/or google the wiring schematic for that truck? Hope that helps
Greg nice work ...Love everything about it, I’m going to paint my bumpers , grill, bezels in that same finish. Do you member the color or paint code? Keep up the great work. Thanks
Thanks for the kind words Boilermaker D73. The paint code is TL. It is a silver metallic from a 2003 Ford escape. Two stage base and clear. Hope that helps.
@Jason Smith I believe you are asking about the seams on the bed. If so, after taking it down to bare metal I applied two coats of epoxy primer then seam sealer. Hope that helps.
@Old Timey Tools Hello. I ran a brand new wiring harness on the truck and replaced all the the light, signal components with new stuff. Hope that helps.
Amazingly awesome work wow I am so inspired ❤️🔥👌🏼🙌🏼 Automotive work of art
Thank you @Leandro Machado that is very kind of you to say.

Glad my 68 did not have very much rust. Nice work
Thank you James Bascombe. No rust is a good thing.
@@midlifecustoms had some. But It came from South Carolina. Won't find anything where I live that is not rotten. I live in the rust belt. Lol
I hear you. I actually meant to say little rust. I don't think many of these old trucks are totally rust free. lol
@@midlifecustoms true. As they were used a work trucks. Not like the country Cadillac's they call trucks today. Lol
Killer job and nice choice in wheels. Doing somewhat the same thing with my son on a 1968 F-250 Ranger 390.

Greg Nappo thanks for taking time to replay back I appreciate it.
You are welcome. I will be adding more videos soon.
4 weeks for body work and engine work, 22 months for wiring and reassembly if it's anything like one of my projects.
Cuanto tiempo se tardaron en terminarla
Hola Saul Lopez. Tardo casi dos anos en terminar
Did you weld the seams or just fill them with something
@Jason Smith I believe you are asking about the seams on the bed. If so, after taking it down to bare metal I applied two coats of epoxy primer then seam sealer. Hope that helps.
Hi! How did you do your electrics? Turn signals etc? Looks awesome
@Old Timey Tools Hello. I ran a brand new wiring harness on the truck and replaced all the the light, signal components with new stuff. Hope that helps.
It's very nice truck. But, Could you tell me about gas tank? What car is it?
Thanks Luis. The tank is a Tanks inc EFI kit for a 69 Mustang.
How did you get front wheels of such a wide lip on a Crown Vic is it narrowed
@Jake Browne the Crown Vic clip is not narrowed. Fits in factory size.
