I used to think that uncompromising mode was just giving enemies knockback like the nightmare werepig and that was it but I gave this video a chance and I was pleasantly surprised to see how much the mod had to offer. Your video was a nice way of showing off all the new bosses and just a hand full of the new interesting items and ideas for strategies you can come up with for taking on this challenging but fun looking pack, thank you, I was glad to be proven wrong about it
It is an absolute CRIME that this has so few views. The editing, narration, script, content, explanations, actual game play, and just everything are top notch incredible. I wish you the best as a content creator because you definite have great skill at this.

I've been watching in segments whenever I have a meal, only 1 hour in these past two days but it is SO intresting to see an UM playthrough. I'm a console player so no access to mods, and a lot of people made it seem through the past few years that uncompromising mode is just an absurdly hard mode for elitists of the game but it is NOTHING. NOTHING LIKE THAT. This is awesome, one of my biggest problems with base dst is that characters don't vary in playstules enough and mostly feel the same and UM (just by looking at Wolfgang) seems to fix this extremely well, Wolfgang and his shadow skill tree seem so unique and building into this very little explored 'risk reward' concept in dst with the shadow side and shadow reaper. Aswell as the bosses and their rework seem INCREDIBLE and unique, breaking up the most monotone part of Dst combat being just pure kiting, few hits, run, few hits, run in circles. Bee queen alone seems to be turned from what I would say the currently worst boss in the game, into if it was in base game, probably my favorite. And with the name putting an emphasis on uncompromising I really didn't expect the very major or sigicant buffs for bad or less used items as the counterpart to nerfing the really good, that of which I expected, but all the buffs to the less used items is an extremely nice suprise I would actually love to see, also really neat how such an extremely unimportant thing as booster shoots got turned into an actually major game mechanic in summer. And the cursed items seem fucking awesome?!?! The Klaus on alone seems like It would be my favorite item in the game and I am so curious what the other ones could be. That bring said amazingly put together video and a great showcase of UM, Definitely subscribed and staying for all your future videos, probably even going back to your older ones and in very exciting for what you do next and to see more UM, very curious what all the UM characters and skill trees are like aswell as some other cool stuff in the mod (and yes it makes me incredibly jealous LOL especially since I've been on a journey to find a game with the same depth and content as Dst to fill the void of learning a harsh game and it's mechanics from nothingness again)
Oh also, even though I absolutely love and adore klei I REALLY hope that a lot of these things get in game or atleast klei pays attention to it and learns from it (seems that they kinda did since I saw an UM ancient guardian rework teaser 4 years ago before the vanilla one an I think it inspired klei to the current day ancient guardian with the whole pillar ramming and stuff) and scrolled through your channel and DEFINITELY watching some of your old stuff, super curious in the cursed items ranking
Absolutely love this comment 🥲. I really hope they add a way to play with mods on console someday, because I could never go back to vanilla after playing this mod. This video barely scratched the surface of what UM does unfortunately, because I had to spend the time on the "boss rush" element itself. You'll find much more detailed explanations of much more in the wx series, and also the next series that's on the way

I have to give it to you man, You've officially made me enter into another Don't Starve Together fase, I had this game so abandoned in the back of my mind, kind of accumulating updates, but never had the motivation to actually play. That is until the WX uncom series, dude this mod and your videos literally made me go back to don't starve by themselves. I've been having a blast with endgame rift content and actually started to play uncomp with a friend and it made the game feel entirely new, and scary again (Seasons are harsh). Definitely an underrated content creator here, and one of the best DST players imo. Stop saying others are better than you, for me you are one of the better players, simply because I can see you enjoy this game and enjoy Uncomp. Thumbs up and keep the good content!

Is it really like a 4th DLC tho? Idk I tried it once and didn't fancy the design of it that much, I don't think it's on par with the game itself. I dig that it' s more challenging, sure, and I know it was a lot of work and I bet some people like but I wouldn't enjoy it if they were added to the game as it is right now, it needs more work if it were to be, aesthetics-wise (design and animations)

Do hope this gets the views it deserves, that said don't force yourself to make content if you don't want to or think it'll lean to burnout. Hearing the enjoyment in your voice when you talk about wanting to push boundaries for speedrun times among other things is what'd personally like to continue to see and hear. Keep up the content my dude, long videos, short videos, episodes, doesn't matter to me what comes next as long as the quality and enjoyment are still there.

Sorry for your loss 😔. I could never go back to vanilla after discovering this mod. Glad you enjoyed it though! I tried to showcase what I could, even though I could barely scratch the surface since I was more focused on boss rushing than other stuff.
If you can figure out what caused that glitch, day 126 would mean nothing, cause you could fight both exclusive dragonflies on the same day. Fighting it that early would probably mean you'd be less equipped, though. Food for thought, at least.

The moonmaw spawn reminds me of a time when Scrappy Werepig accidentally spawned twice. I think because somebody released him from the pile without fighting him for a long time, the game eventually spawned a 2nd werepig inside the teetering pile of scrap.
Insane run dude! Also u should do a run like this as jackeysaurus would and try to speed run it as fast as you can! I think it would be an entertaining watch.
My dream for uncompromising mode is that Klei realised just how much of a masterpiece it is and actually integrates it into the base game so i can play it on console with friends. I've used alot of modes but one that is truly astonishing is this mode. Even above all the QoL mods this one is just so amazing.

That was amazing. No clue why wilting dfly spawned that second time. Unless for some reason a full moon from killing Celestial Champion doesn’t stop wilting from spawning. I know you’ve already read it before. But the quality of content has improved tremendously. I don’t mind the really long videos, but I liked your multiple episodes a bit more because you were able to showcase a lot more about UM.
I definitely prefer your content style over Jakeyosaurus'. Your more organized, less chaotic video editing and even tone is a lot more appealing. Thank you for offering your content!
I wanna see a wendy playtrhough on uncomp! Ideally one where you use Abigail in every fight. I've done this in vanilla pre lunar champion by using the super tonics to keep her alive. You can heal her by using items on her flower which makes things easier.
4:15 you can actually make it so that both twiggy trees and juicy berries don't spawn on world generation by setting the Starting Resource Variety world setting to classic. this doesnt prevent them from generating later on as the world regens resources
I have one singular issue with the video, it’s the noise that plays when you edit a picture/text or something on screen, sounds like something from mobile game ads lol, that’s just me though Banger video

For nightmare werepig, you dont even need the pick/axe, as of chores 5 skill lets you push pickaxes capacity into breaking hard materials as mighty wolfgang

If you can figure out what caused that glitch, day 126 would mean nothing, cause you could fight both exclusive dragonflies on the same day. Fighting it that early would probably mean you'd be less equipped, though. Food for thought, at least.

In all seriousness, this was an AWESOME video! Kinda surprised that UCM basically buffed Wolfgang, I kinda want to try him in my next UCM playthrough after this. It was both sad and hilarious to see you leap off the edge as well though.
What I'm most surprised is with how you just BUM RUSHED through UCM and all the new challenges it throws at you. But all in all, great job!

The moonmaw spawn reminds me of a time when Scrappy Werepig accidentally spawned twice. I think because somebody released him from the pile without fighting him for a long time, the game eventually spawned a 2nd werepig inside the teetering pile of scrap.

My dream for uncompromising mode is that Klei realised just how much of a masterpiece it is and actually integrates it into the base game so i can play it on console with friends. I've used alot of modes but one that is truly astonishing is this mode. Even above all the QoL mods this one is just so amazing.

@@curlyhaireddevil8548 I believe it should be in the base game too. Or at least, one of the gamemode options you see when creating a world. Sadly, this will never happen. But a bunch of UM stuff has been added in the past. The AG rework for example

I've done this in vanilla pre lunar champion by using the super tonics to keep her alive.
You can heal her by using items on her flower which makes things easier.

4:15 you can actually make it so that both twiggy trees and juicy berries don't spawn on world generation by setting the Starting Resource Variety world setting to classic. this doesnt prevent them from generating later on as the world regens resources
I have one singular issue with the video, it’s the noise that plays when you edit a picture/text or something on screen, sounds like something from mobile game ads lol, that’s just me though

For nightmare werepig, you dont even need the pick/axe, as of chores 5 skill lets you push pickaxes capacity into breaking hard materials as mighty wolfgang

The Pick/Axe was handly for a bunch of the run, but still. That could change my route if I were to do this again...
