I believe the panting comes from the high g maneuver shortly before exiting the wormhole, there were several moments the character was panting throughout the travel time while pulling high g's
When you start to see the shades of blue on the horizon and the music intensifies, you really feel like you're escaping hell (Pyro) and finally heading home (Stanton)... I’m really looking forward to experiencing all of that for myself in the live version
The music and sound design are pretty great, the opening of the jump point and its visuals feom the outside are fantastic, but am I the only one who feels like the visuals of the actual transit have a lot of jank to them? The exit too is a bit jarring, like you're flying into a wall of light rather than coming out of a wormhole. Any thoughts? I'm just not sure if I like the light at the end of the tunnel look and the overall length of the jump
Nahhh not everything has to be prefectly tuned for diverse fun. This is immersive and cool and it takes very little time, youre gonna be doing this once per play session at most and usually not even that
this year honestly going to be very important for setting the pace, their foundations are just setting in place now, going to be interesting to see how fast 1.0 drops, if its in under 18 months from now thats 5 systems. beyond that id expect a couple related nearby systems in batches each quarter.
@@superReyRey When Chris said 18 months he wasnt referring to 1.0, Im sorry, thats still a few years out. He was referring to monster hunting and base building.
@@superReyReyI don’t expect we’ll see Nyx until the end of next year, and then Castra until the end of 2026. They were very clear that Castra is in “pre-production”, so not even true whitebox. @@124thDragoon a lot of it also has to do with how many planets are in each remaining system and how many of these systems actually have a "hero" style landing zone. it could be easy to pump out a few systems a year if these systems only have space stations and ground based POI`s dotted around them like pyro.
@@superReyRey nah Terra is not coming in 18 months no way, the other systems maybe, but 1.0 wasnt promised, it was just monster hunting and base building

thats why there is a full game loop tied to it lol. you dont know what it is. if you dont steer and fall out you will be somewhere in-between the systems, good luck getting back without help.
You're not supposed to leave a system constantly. But if you have to do it regularly for things like transporting goods, then you'll just have to accept it and stop complaining for nothing
@@citizenottr5159 actually, charted jumps are supposed to be easy to transit, even able to run autopilot. I can see this level of intensity for *unexplored* or uncharted jump points where you don't have the data for the route. Otherwise, dealing with the transit on the regular like this can get extremely tedious and tiring after a while.
I feel like this is too difficult and needs some balancing. Think haulers, in big hauling ships, how are they going to maneuver around these weird pillars? It seems quite tedious, especially if youre going to be doing it over and over again. Think about how much game time is going to end up inside of the wormhole. I feel it may be too much.
I think it looks hard because it's a smaller ship so it's getting thrown around much more. I haven't seen a larger ship do it yet but I'm sure they won't be thrown around as much

Looks very cool. Is the music in game or did you add it to RUclips video?
@@FurryButBald It's in game and a part of dynamic music. Automatically plays and progresses while you jump.
All music in SC is composed by Pedro..he is insane

Coming out of that wormhole with that music and your character panting? So freaking cinematic
makes me think i wish it made your ingame BPM go up
I like how our character is panting after coming out of the jump. It seems very stressfull

Well played.
Wow, sound design & music are amazing
Most amazing thing I´ve seen in a space sim.
one of the cleanest jumps I've seen. you're a lucky guy!

This is the cleanest jump i have seem so far, not a lot of lag spikes and jank

Have you run into one of those in-tunnel tornados yet to see what happens?
what happens if you touch a pillar inside the wormhole ?
do you get destroyed or does the jump fails and you get stranded ?
I believe if you hit too many, the jump fails. It messes with your ship and systems.
Pretty sure it can drop you out in a random area of the original system
Probably doesn't work half the time, star citizen is a joke
How the hell am I going to do this in a Polaris
perfect experience. thank you.
I cant wait to play this myself!
That is a very long wormhole 😂
