It sounds really sad because it's Kurt but that could be said for many young artists who have died. The 27 club for one (which Kurt is now a part of). Just trying to provide insight so that everything about Kurt isn't all sad and depressing. He was a funny dude with a great sense of humor.
In Utero is honestly my favourite album by Nirvana it just has that feel that's just very hard to replicate. It's a great thing you were able to recreate all of these tones without the actual Guitar Kurt Cobain used. It's sad that Kurt didn't live long enough to create another epic studio album.
Only came across your RUclips channel today and the memories it's bringing back, lying in bed listening to nirvana now like I did over 30years ago when my fascination started with them. My 2 little girls love smells like teen spirit, have 2 electric guitars ready for them when they'll show some interest. Keep up the good work man.
"Scentless Apprentice" and "Milk it" in particular have such cool riffs. Thanks for uploading this! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🎸 And it truly shows how talented Kurt was to be able to sing/scream so passionately while playing those guitar riffs. He's underrated as a guitar player/singer in my opinion. Yes, very well known but not appreciated enough as an actual musician..
Any day is a good day to play some Nirvana riffs, but it feels even more appropriate today. Great video, I was hoping someone would upload something for the 30th anniversary. Those songs are still great after all this time. Now I feel the need to plug in and crank out the riff to tourette's...
In Utero was Kurt's last incarnation of his creative genius, and the album he was most satisfied with, It's fair to say you did it justice by recreating alot of his In Utero guitars to near 1:1 spec, my personal favourite has been the Jagstang, and it sounds amazing, the Skystang comes second though, although I do prefer the skystang more some days over the jagstang. I only wish I could see the Jagstang in its final form as I already love it the most in its prototype form. Oranj Stank surprised me because it sounds totally killer. Love your content man! Cheers.
I love in utero my fav album, the songs of Nirvana that I like to play the most are those of this album, this is my favorite video of you and thanks to you I learned to play all the riffs of the inutero.👏🏻👏🏻
Crazy that my favorite album is now twice my age lol. Such a fantastic album. My favorites are Scentless Apprentice, Milk It, All Apologies, and Rape Me
Your recreation of the tone is amazing, and you played every riff flawlessly 🤘. I just missed "Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through the Strip" riff.
oh god this video is just a master piece, a master class !!! The oranj stang sounds amazingly great !!! On repa me it really nails the tone !!! The only regrets I have and it's only details, is not using neck pick ups on dumb , penny royal tea and all apologies. But it's juste details... You did again an amazing job I really wanna make an oranj stang from scratch You're so inspiring !!!! Greetings from Belgium and happy 30th birth day to in Utero Wyll
I just realized In Utero was released exactly 15 years before I was born, and now it’s 30th anniversary is on my 15th birthday. Am I dumb for thinking that’s funny? This is probably your best In Utero tone video yet, it sounds identical to the album, and the use of both Oranj-Stangs is just icing on the cake.
My favorite of the guitars is definitely your blue sky-stang. But I also like the way both jag-stang’s sound. I was reading somewhere that Kurt also had a sunburst telecaster modded with humbuckers in the neck and bridge that he kept with him to write on in hotels/on the bus or at home. Do you know anything about that guitar?
I'm sorry but no. I just got back from a trip, I was out of the country for 8 days visiting family. I put this in my instagram story yesterday, follow me @nirvanaguitars to get all those kinds of updates!
Are you planning to do a Jaguar nirvana history video? I noticed you have most of the main guitars on there but you dont have a video on the Jaguar. Could you please make one if you dont already have plans to?? Id love to see it as the Jaguar is the only Cobain guitar i have left (i used to own the signature mustang in sonic blue but i needed the money really bad and they were selling for twice what i paid so i ended up selling it for 100%+ profit.
Beautiful guitars, and beautiful sounds! Thank you! I wonder how many watts you usually dial on the output knob of your amp? Mine is on 5W and the amp is pretty loud with volume knob at 2 - 3. Yours is at 5? 😲😀
9:09 Ese es el riff de la cansion kanishka de 1991 del grupo argentino los brujos kurt cobain se inspiraro de esa canción cuando nirvana dio su único consierto en 1992 y los brujos fueron teloneros de nirvana en ese año
I love how Kurt Cobain crafted a riff. Was he the best? The worst? A legend? Overrated? You tell me. Dude just wanted to make music and I like what he made. I'm grateful to have been a wee man when Smells Like Teens Spirit spewed out all over the world. I've listened to so much great music because of that first domino. Insert meme here
white strat eater here, as someone who never got to experience the nirvana era, it really saddens me that i will never get to experience a single nirvana live or kurt cobain at all, i can't believe that by the looks of it kurt didn't really even want to get help, even though i wish he would've gotten proper help, poor guy, white strat eater out.
Hey nirvana guitars can you talk about the red guitar that kurt had I dont me the Epiphone or thame oranj stang the guitar that looks like a gibson sg but its full just red pls talk about it
Dude, can you play swap meet with the epiphone et-270? That would be a sound straight from heaven, it saddens me kurt never played it with that guitar. Also, if possible, could you play sifting with that one as well? I don't know if he played sifting with the epiphone
I would honestly say that In Utero is probably my least favourite of the studio albums, but you did a great job capturing so much of the feel in your playing. I really enjoyed the video.
I get shivers every time I hear Serve the Servants. Brilliant song and riff
Best album opener of all time.
it's sad and weird to know that all of kurts songs are older than he ever was..
Wow good point 🥺
Yeah
Never tought about that. Thats sad
It sounds really sad because it's Kurt but that could be said for many young artists who have died. The 27 club for one (which Kurt is now a part of). Just trying to provide insight so that everything about Kurt isn't all sad and depressing. He was a funny dude with a great sense of humor.
that album rings a lot of negativity
In utero riffs, played in the same day that this album was published, thanks for bringing this video in the 30th aniversary of in utero
Thanks for celebrating the anniversary with me by watching! 🙂
I love your videos because they sound amazing and you have good angles to learn the riffs by seeing them!
Thank you Nirvanaguitars!
I’m happy they are helpful in that way!! Thank you for watching 🙂

It's really nice seeing someone play the Heart-shaped box riff properly. thank you

BRILLIANT!!! And oh my god your budget oranj-stang sounds so cool!!!

Milk It is the best riff in the world!
christ, that prototype jag-stang sounds amazing on every song it's used on
I know right?! The prototype mod turned that guitar into a beast
why is nirvanaguitars my fav youtube channel right now?? i kinda love it
🥹🙏🏻
Mine too😊😊!!
i learned most songs of nirvana because of you thanks for that!
Happy to hear my videos have helped in that way! 🙂
Fucking awesome tone on all songs but the one on "Heart-Shaped Box" really got me! Nice job!

Great job as always homie

Love this album! it really shows the bands at the best when it comes to melodies and art direction. 💐
Favorite Riff: Radio Friendly Unit Shifter 🎸
Only Milk It!
Personally, i think that Scentless Apprentice is the best riff, and great video as always.
Love hearing you do this. Shows all the new kids it doesn’t matter what you have. Just play and have fun. Love you’re videos.
This is so cool! I love it❤
Probaly Very Ape so good i just love it!
Crazy that my favorite album is now twice my age lol. Such a fantastic album. My favorites are Scentless Apprentice, Milk It, All Apologies, and Rape Me
Keep up the phenomenal sound mixing and videos!
The camera bugging out I actually think was pretty cool
Videos like this make me wanna start playing guitar again just to jam out some good old Nirvana
Como siempre, hermoso
i really love your stuff, thx.
happy 30th anniversary!
Your recreation of the tone is amazing, and you played every riff flawlessly 🤘. I just missed "Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through the Strip" riff.
For me, the 1995 jagstang just has a really nice tone, nice one 👍
oh god this video is just a master piece, a master class !!!

Hey, here's to a year later! Happy birthday (tomorrow) it's my birthday tomorrow as well!
@@Guitarhero_02.21 Ayyy happy early birthday!

Have you done the same for Nevermind? If not, I'd love to see that too!
Have you ever run both your Twin and the Randall at the same time? I bet that would sound huge!
Great work 😎 Great album.
Tourette's, Very Ape, Radio.., Frances... mu choices
YES
Оооо ура возрождение NIRVANA🤘
Do you have another collection of personal, non nirvana guitars?
Lets gooo
i feel like frances farmer will have her revenge on seattle and radio friendly unit shifter are such underrated songs:/
Yey new vide
nice!
No video coming out today? :(
I'm sorry but no. I just got back from a trip, I was out of the country for 8 days visiting family. I put this in my instagram story yesterday, follow me @nirvanaguitars to get all those kinds of updates!
Please make a video about Smells Like Nirvana tone
Wow the tone of rape me impressed me a lot, sounds great, you definitely don't need a super expensive guitar to sound good
Are you planning to do a Jaguar nirvana history video? I noticed you have most of the main guitars on there but you dont have a video on the Jaguar. dammit now i want a jag stang
Man, I was hoping to get a bonus of Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through The Strip at the end

Radio friendly's pedal?
Dandy horse Echo flanger clone
I like the squire, but the other guitars will sound better in a mix with mid hump they have.

Can you do an episode on Pat Smear? It would be cool to see the history and his rigs 🎶💙🤘
i love that dumb is slts i think thats very funny
Have you seen the new Fender Mustang Vintera ii burgundy
what is the bridge used on skystang I? I wanna mod my bullet mustang as close to skystang as I can
Weird to say but I think the budget fiesta red stang sounds the best to my ears. Does it have those squire pickups that come with the bullet mustangs?
I think you can do NAM models for Nirvana's albums. Three models for three albums.
Hey nirvana guitars can you talk about the red guitar that kurt had I dont me the Epiphone or thame oranj stang the guitar that looks like a gibson sg but its full just red pls talk about it
This day, (well, tomorrow) is my birthday :)
Do another guitar collection please
I'm still waiting tha sappy and i hate miself and i want to die tone recreations 😔
Dude, can you play swap meet with the epiphone et-270?
That would be a sound straight from heaven, it saddens me kurt never played it with that guitar.
Also, if possible, could you play sifting with that one as well? I don't know if he played sifting with the epiphone
I have 1 question: Eric where did you get
your ROAD WORN version of the jaguar?
rape me is my favourite song and sounded awesome in this video! though I still prefer the paramount version.
can you make the old age tone?
good comparison by the way
Yo bro make for next video the most brutal
Nirvana riffs (for you)
you didn't use the univox hy flier of heart shaped box 😢
Can you make roseland mustang
Probably won’t be doing that since I already did that to my Jag-Stang
Thanks for replaying sorry my englis is bad
👍
And what about I hate myself and I want to die? Btw good covers men you're doing it great
You did good with the video 👍 i have a request for you, you should try recreating nirvana 87 demos like skid row nirvana and teded fred nirvana
I would honestly say that In Utero is probably my least favourite of the studio albums, but you did a great job capturing so much of the feel in your playing. I really enjoyed the video.
My favorite album is bleach then closes second is incesticide
No Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol…? Some day.
