How to make Wool Roll Bread

    RECIPE
    ▼ Ingredients
    Bread Flour 300g
    Sugar 30g
    Instant Yeast 4g
    Salt 3g
    Egg 1
    Milk 120ml
    Condensed Milk 20ml
    Unsalted Butter 35g
    Raisin
    ▼Instructions
    1. After beating all the ingredients except butter until the dough is semi-smooth, add butter at room temperature to make the dough smooth.
    2. Ferment at room temperature for 1 hour to double the size.
    3. After venting, divide into five pieces equally, knead them into a circle, let them stand for 15 minutes, roll into a long shape, cut the upper half into strips, and add the dried extract to the lower half.
    4. Put in an 8-inch mold and ferment for 1 hour. Sweep milk on the surface.
    5. Bake at 170°C for 20 minutes, then release from the mold and let cool.

    *The fillings are versatile so add anything you like. I added chocolate chips and half cinnamon sugar.

    The raisins take 4 hours. Yet the video shows them being incorporated less than 1 hour after the soaking began. In as much as this is likely an error of editing, it would be a problem for the novice baker who does not understand that timing is important in obtaining the best results. I would offer that soaking the raisins in hot water at the beginning of the preparation process would have them ready in 1 hour...a timing consistent with the video order of things.

    Hello, I apologize for my amateur question, but what makes a flour Bread Flour?... You know how Cake Flour is a mix of flour and cornstarch? What is added to flour to make it ideal for bread? (In case you don't have access to store packaged Bread Flour).

      Hey, I'm also a amateur, but I know that if you really can’t find bread flour, you can substitute it with All purpose flour. It should give similar results.

      @@ishita7755 Thank you. I'm planning to wing it with All Purpose. I want to experiment with Almond Flour at some point too. Sounds like the flavor would be great as a bread.
