thank you for your message Kaplanyx, yes i know, but when the "countour" is engaged i like the sound, because i think the sound is more balanced. It's a personal opinion
Am I right in thinking the DI signal is pre master levels? If so, that renders the whole channel A/B thing useless if you want a clean tone and an overdrive tone. When you switch them you'd get a massive volume change through the PA. That seems very odd to me.
Have you ever had the opportunity to compare the fusion to the RB-700-II [or any RB-ii] head? If so, any thoughts on comparison? I'm thinking of "upgrading" to a fusion...
is there any reason most gk cabs are 8ohm beside the fact running two in parrallel to get the 4? Would be nice if the 212 cab was 4 ohm to take advantage of the full power
in my opinion, if you have 112 cab it means you can't do more noise, right? so are good 8 ohm, 4 ohm is too much. Obvyusly if you have 212 cab (4 ohm) is more nice, but not always you can do!!
Yes I tried neo410, in general neo's series is more brighter than ampeg svt. Also the Fusion 500 is brighter, and if you have both (fusion + neo), the sound is very dry, you can set the volume of tweeter, but the problem remain the same. For this reason i prefer ampeg (fusion + ampeg), because you can balance the sound, in this case you have clean, crisp sound of the Gallien Kruegher and punchy sound of Ampeg. This is my opinion, Ampeg and GK are very beatiful amp but different. I hope to be a help
+Francesco Alga Zucchi yes, you help with your answer, thanks! I have a gk 700rb ii and a neo 410, i'd like to get a svt 410hlf for that reason, grazie
The neutral Position of "Contour" ist straight left, not 12 o clock ... so all sound samples sounded scooped.

Thank You!!!

No, but I Think the difference is little and the Fusion is much less heavy, and for me is a big difference...
4 months later, coming back to compare mics haha.
I ended up getting the Fusion, do not regret switching.

I expected more from the low frequencies for this price. So ampeg is uglier, but his warm lows are incredible...
what cab do you prefer? gk neo or ampeg svt hlf?
maybe i prefer ampeg svt...
+Francesco Alga Zucchi why? What's the difference? Have you tried neo 410?
