If you pay attention in the film it tells you why Unicron’s horns are rising. When Burton found the ancient book Simmons was talking about it says that one day Unicron would rise to fight Quintessa as she would attempt to destroy Unicron to restore Cybertron. It was prophesied back in the dark ages when the Guardian Knights meet King Arthur and Merlin.

Here is something to discuss - With Unicron being buried beneath Earth and him rising due to his old enemy Cybertron, why didn't his horns rise during Transformers Dark Of The Moon when Sentinel Prime pulled the planet towards Earth using a Space Bridge? 🤔

Primus does not exist in the movie universe. The reason Unicron’s horns were rising was because it was Prophesied that Unicron would one day rise to fight Quintessa. Its more likely that Unicron sensed Quintessa’s return and that is what started him to awake.
Obviously DOTM was meant to be the conclusion but I think it could be explained that because Cybertron wasn't fully transported that it didn't necessarily wake Unicron but made him aware. Then once Quintessa resurfaced & guiding Cybertron to Earth, that's when he started to fully awaken

The best explanation would be this: Unicron was not yet ready for a battle with Primus, so he did not show any signs of his presence. This has already happened in Transformers Armada

Idk if this is a joke but Unicron is not always earth. That's a new thing. In the animated 1986 film (which is the first appearance of Unicron) He is a planet eating transformer like how he is in the new film.

Bumblebee and Rise of The Beasts are not part of the beyverse. They are a reboot. They are unconnected to the previous movies.

To be honest with all of these comment on this sort is interesting. And I do like this theory. This is mine. Maybe this unicron is on the good side and Quintessa re-wrote the history of the alliance that Unicron and Primus made.
There's a continuity error; in dark of the moon cybertron was so close in atmosphere but no one reported his horns, but I think I know why not reported. Since the earth was covering Chicago attacks and were not focusing on that since everyone focused also on the ksi events then trf but how in the name of primus would the horns grow within 6 years that fast? Unless unicron is like samurai jack's aku. Would Someone get trans theory on the line to see this ?

I'm too late to the discussion. But seeing the way those horns were positioned, those aren't horns. Those are his teeth that we always see on what can be made presumably the front of his planet mode. People may know this already but I just want to point out that I see this as well.

So base on the latest rise of all beasts movie, this is not unicron. Unicron wants to consume earth and never landed. Prime and others stopped him. So there is another ancient autobot in there!

So this confirms the Knightverse is a reboot and not a prequel.
So the AllSpark crashes onto the Earth, doesn't wake Unicron. The Fallen is about to blast the sun destroying the Earth, no response. Cybertron is partially brought above Earth with space bridge technology, but Unicron is too scared to fight a larger Cybertron. The Quintessons seed the Earth killing the dinosaurs, no response. A partially destroyed Cybertron is enough to reawaken Unicron. Also because apparently these films are still in the same series when Unicron shows up in Rise of the Beasts he's about to devour, himself?

Most definitely. RoTB and Bumblebee are mean't to be reboots to the Transformers franchise. But they can work with the 1st to 3rd Bayverse movies. Unless the next Transformers installment sets in the mid 2000s, then you can say the Bayverse are their own thing and the rebooted franchise starting with Bumblebee is an entirely different story.
I’m trying to understand so if unicron was already in earth in tf last night why In Pretense does he want to get to earth bc theoretically he would have been there already so I would have had to been primus or in 20 years 30 years he imbedded his self into earth

I've been paying close attention at this scene since I've saw it. In Revelation 1:20 states that "The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches." Which 7 stars or churches means 7 horns of Unicron. In other meaning: 7 signs of the apocalypse.
The last couple of transformers films were terrible just went to far unicorn was only introduced to try a new storey line but it made no sense to the franchise
Regardless of that, I really hated that concept, because in Transformers: Prime, Unicron being the Earth’s core is portrayed as a threat which serves as an allegory of Satan imprisoned in the deepest layers of Hell while Primus is an allegory of God who created life and watches the skies, but in The Last Knight, what it portrayed is backwards as the only threat is is God while Satan is the one we need to protect, which Michael Bay have committed blasphemy.
Because Michael Bay is horrible at Science Fiction.. This is just stupid, as was his firing of Travis Knight.. Won't be watching Beast Joke..
