So don't judge her just on this, most people do sound different when they mostly whisper.

Is it weird that whenever I watch this channel it makes me so happy because my family on my moms side is all scottish and it reminds me of how calm and gentle my grandfather was
"Heavy" Get someone from Aberdeen, Inverness or the islands to do this. Their accents are so strong bot even the Scottish understand it! This is more of a strong forth valley/less chavy Glaswegian accent. You're right though, like most strong accents it works well.

What you need to measure for a kilt: waist....that is it, maybe upper thigh to knee for length, but that tends to be a set measurement. Source: me, a man that wears kilts on a daily basis and has 10 of them (mostly utility kilts, but I do have 2 traditional kilts).
When I was in doing my W&T year in New Zealand, I met a guy called Brad from Scotland. We were working in the same Hostel in Wellington and he was a really funny guy. We did the pub crawl pretty much every day and hang out a lot. It took me 2 Months to fully understand this guy and once I did, I always tried to impersonate him. Like that language and oh boy can Scottish people drink... Best from Germany
