Fun Fact: Do you know why the stethoscope was invented? Prior to them, doctors would just place their ear against patients' chests. Then there was this one woman who was...I don't remember the exact adjective...but anyway the doctor didn't want to put his ear on her chest, for whatever reason. So he rolled up a newspaper or something, put his ear to one end and the other end on the chest, and now we have stethoscopes.
