Thank you for explaining the classifications of bones and types of cartilage in such an easy understanding way. Can’t wait for this upcoming chapter, I’m sure it’ll be a lot to take in but that’s what makes a great challenge!
I found the video very insightful. The part that stuck with me the most was learning about the two ways that cartilage grows and how cartilage heals being that it doesn't have blood vessels. As for the question, the answer is D. Epiphyseal plate.
I believe the answer is D. Epiphyseal plate (growth plate) because the chondrocyte inside the growth plate divides and increases the length of the long bone.
The epiphyseal plate is necessary for longitudinal growth, as that cartilage is capable of almost stretching and increasing the length of the bone before it is replaced by hard bone. Therefore, the answer is D. The epiphyseal line is basically the end result of the epiphyseal plate, so it cannot be the answer.
I believe that the answer is D. Epiphyseal Plate because it deals with growth. A. cannot be the answer since it is just cartilage and does not stimulate growth. C. cannot be the answer either since it is a lining and its job is to cover and protect.
I assume D.( epiphyseal plate) is the answer because this is necessary to produce new growth as the plates expand due to the chondrocytes dividing, creating cartilage that turns to bone (length).

I found the video very insightful. The part that stuck with me the most was learning about the two ways that cartilage grows and how cartilage heals being that it doesn't have blood vessels. As for the question, the answer is D. Epiphyseal plate.
I believe that the answer is D which is epiphyseal plate because it is necessary for the bone growth in length and the chondrocytes divide as well.
I believe the answer is D. Epiphyseal plate (growth plate) because the chondrocyte inside the growth plate divides and increases the length of the long bone.
I believe the answer is D because the epiphyseal plate is necessary for new growth
I would say D epiphyseal plate is the answer to the question
I believe that the answer is D. Epiphyseal Plate because it deals with growth. A. cannot be the answer since it is just cartilage and does not stimulate growth. C. cannot be the answer either since it is a lining and its job is to cover and protect.
D. The Epiphyseal plate is necessary for the bone growth in length
The answer is D or epiphyseal plates because they are growth plates that allows the bones to be able to get longer or grow.
Epiphyseal plate is the answer because its main function is for bone growth
Epiphyseal plates, are growth plates that allow the bones to develop longer or grow. (D is the correct answer)
To answer the question, I think D) Epiphyseal plate is necessary for long bone growth in length.
I believe answer D is the correct answer because epiphyseal is the growth plate.
I assume D.( epiphyseal plate) is the answer because this is necessary to produce new growth as the plates expand due to the chondrocytes dividing, creating cartilage that turns to bone (length).
the answer for the question is d. epiphyseal plate
The answer to the question is D. Epiphyseal plate because its responsible for long bone growth
