    I believe that the answer is D which is epiphyseal plate because it is necessary for the bone growth in length and the chondrocytes divide as well.

    The epiphyseal plate is necessary for longitudinal growth, as that cartilage is capable of almost stretching and increasing the length of the bone before it is replaced by hard bone. Therefore, the answer is D. The epiphyseal line is basically the end result of the epiphyseal plate, so it cannot be the answer.

  • @esme766

    I would say D epiphyseal plate is the answer to the question

  • @carmelle932

    I believe that the answer is D. Epiphyseal Plate because it deals with growth. A. cannot be the answer since it is just cartilage and does not stimulate growth. C. cannot be the answer either since it is a lining and its job is to cover and protect.

    I found the video very insightful. The part that stuck with me the most was learning about the two ways that cartilage grows and how cartilage heals being that it doesn't have blood vessels. As for the question, the answer is D. Epiphyseal plate.

  • @Tamfvm

    D. The Epiphyseal plate is necessary for the bone growth in length

  • @priscillabernal1492
    @priscillabernal1492 5 месяцев назад

    I assume D.( epiphyseal plate) is the answer because this is necessary to produce new growth as the plates expand due to the chondrocytes dividing, creating cartilage that turns to bone (length).

  • @isabelguadarrama562
    @isabelguadarrama562 5 месяцев назад

    Epiphyseal plates, are growth plates that allow the bones to develop longer or grow. (D is the correct answer)

    The answer to the question is D. Epiphyseal plate because its responsible for long bone growth

  • @user-bc2xo2gr9y

    To answer the question, I think D) Epiphyseal plate is necessary for long bone growth in length.

  • @mackenzieavendano4689
    @mackenzieavendano4689 5 месяцев назад

    I believe the answer is D. Epiphyseal plate (growth plate) because the chondrocyte inside the growth plate divides and increases the length of the long bone.

    This video was awesome for in depth clarification about the multiple types of connective tissues especially. It was surprising to learn that the dense regular connective tissues heal slower because they are poorly vascularized. With the reduced blood flow, I am sure that the injured tissue would take longer to recover. I would have thought that it would’ve healed faster, so it was interesting to learn. It is good to know that fibroblasts play a strong part in healing that tissue with collagen though.

    This video goes over how DNA stored and replicated by the cells in our body. During a cell’s lifetime, it undergoes two stages: interphase and the mitotic phase. Interphase is where the cell grows and undergoes normal functions, and is in preparation for cell replication by copying genetic material. Once ready for cell division, the cell enters mitosis, where identical sets of chromosomes and centrioles eventually face opposite ends of the cell for it to divide in two. The genetic material stored in a cell’s nucleus is responsible for the body’s diversity in specialized cells, as it determines the cell’s shape and organelle arrangement.

    Cells are the smallest living units and perform all functions. cells obtain nutrients from body fluids. Use nutirents from body fluids to make molecules survive. Cells also dispose waste. Cells maintain shape and intergrity, as well replicate itself. The function of the cells are due to Organelles, Enzymes and metabolism. The 3 main components of a cell is plasma, cytoplasma and nucleus.
