UPDATE: Lineage OS 17.1 is out for Tab S2 and it's usable, I am currently testing it, will be uploading installing tutorial on it very very soon. So, stay tuned guys!!
Hi there! What is the risk with your unofficial builds that can be downloaded from your Google drive? Are they your own or foreign builds? Is it really save to use them? Thank you!
Hi Thank you for your good instruction. Everything worked with my SM-T710 until 6:04 min. Here I have a symbol of android with the message: "Installing system update..." and after this "No command". What did I do wrong? Thank you for your help!
TWRP Recovery might not have installed properly. Couple of these things might help. Try disabling auto reboot in odin when flashing the recovery. And to get out of 'no command' to download mode, keep pressing power button + vol down + home. Other users have tried pressing power+vol up keys hold for a few seconds, do it 2-5 times with 2sec gap in between & the tablet might be boot into recovery.
Well-crafted and informative video my friend, but I had some problems similar to sideshowmusic, below. I have the T813, a 2016 model, so I used gts210vefi instead, but otherwise followed your instructions. I also got the yellow exclamation point and "no command" response, but after a short while a command window appeared automatically on the tablet with various entries such as "reboot system now" and "apply update from adb". If I understood what I was seeing, the tablet was actually in recovery mode, but using the existing Android 7.0 recovery. So I tried disabling auto-reboot. Rocking the power+vol keys just brought up regular operating mode instead of recovery. I even tried a couple of earlier versions of TWRP, but no love. Don't suppose you have any other suggestions?
Thank you for that, yes it appears that your tablet was booted into default Android Recovery. Ok so you are on the right track. But try this. 1. Disable Auto-Reboot!! (Important!) 2. Flash the latest TWRP again. 3. DIRECTLY reboot into recovery mode (Power+Vol Down). If it accidentally boot into normal operating system, repeat step 1-3. Let me know if it’s working please.
@@C2Tech Unfortunately no. Tried it a couple of times but it seems to boot into normal OS mode. Power+Vol Up and Power+Home do nothing. There's probably some button combination that will do the trick, non? It's different for different devices. I saw other folks with similar problems on xda-developers.com try hitting various combinations. Perhaps I need to do this the old fashioned way without TWRP? Sounded ugly by the descriptions.
Performance is rather questionable, sometimes it’s slow, but after a restart it seems to be somewhat smooth again. Battery life is good i still get about 3-5 hours depending on what i do
I tried to update by using your video, but ended in the ' download mode !! ' with secure check fail : recovery. Custom Binary (recovery) Blocken By FRP Lock. What should i do now?
Thanks for the tutorial. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab3 10.1 (GT-P5210) which originally came with Android 4.4. I updated it to Android lineage-14.1-20190408-UNOFFICIAL-santos10wifi (7.1.2) and so far it works fine. Could I install Lineage OS 16 or would it not be recommended?
Try doing the following things. 1. If you’re flashing the latest release rom, try flashing the older rom that was released before that 2. If you’re using latest TWRP, try using a version older TWRP and flashing the rom again. I experienced that weird bug too, but managed to solve it with TWRP 3.3.1
Could you pls confirm your TWRP files for SMT713. Was it gts28wifi? And try pressing combinations of Power+Vol Up or Power+Vol down, to get out of recovery, and retry flashing.
Yes your bootloader need to be unlocked in the first place. Some device its simply going to SETTINGS / developers option and unlock bootloader, while sometimes it’s a little more complicated
@@C2Tech thanks for the response. I'm one of the unlucky ones where it is not available in the developer options. I have the exact same tablet as you SMT810 (WiFi only). Was this option available to you when you did this process or did you have to do it the hard way?

Thats what I love about Android. You can upgrade to newer versions, even if your manufacturer doesnt support that
I follow your steps but so far unsuccessful. My tab won't boot to TWRP. My tab model is SM-T715Y. Any suggestion? Thanks.

I didn’t really have to do anything as far as I remember
I don’t think smt810 was even bootlocked. I just enabled Dev opt, usb debug, and went straight to installing custom recovery
Tab S3 and Tabs4 has the option for bootloader but not tab s2. I didn’t know what device you had at the start.
Can you make a video for lineage os 17 on same tablet
I backup is external sd device
hi, can you upload Aug 10 Rom file .its not there anymore.thanks
That is correct, just use Sept 21 file, should work as well

Will netflix work?
Yes I’ve installed it, and if you dont need to root your tablet, dont root it
@@C2Tech Does Netflix play in full HD with Lineage OS? Netflix videos only play at 480p with stock Samsung rom.
