It's too bad she was only on twice. When her career got bigger, her agents probably thought Craig's show was beneath her.
She probably hated doing the show. Always felt like there was something creepy about Craig. No one believed that Craig's innuendo and teasing was believable towards her, especially Melissa and so it makes for an awkward interview. Craig generously made sure to treat all the women who came on his show the same, but Melissa is more of a "let's keep it real" kinda gal. She knows the audience saw right through that.
Or maybe Craig show ended when she got famous. I follow her movies and if we compare the dates its true
