Really hate some of these crap comments. Anyone who has ever raced motocross knows just how hard it is. I don't mean riding a motorbike. I mean high heart rate, raggedy edge, lactic acid, arm pump racing. These guys are fit, elite athlete fit.
I consider myself average in cardio and have done some pretty intense trail riding on DB and that shit really takes it out of you, especially the slow speed technical stuff, when you are moving quickly the bike is doing all the work, when, you are going slow you need to do all the work and balance is so critical, I compare a 3 mim highly technical enduro style route to a 3km run
no sport in the world is as taxing and as battering on the human body as motocross. It can also torture the human mind with exhaustion. not to mention a rider can really experience serious injury while all this is happening. this is at the local district level. At the pro level everything is magnified
Imagine cycling up and down Europe's largest mountain ranges for 21 days. You have to complete about 2200 miles in that time. You will race against 180 other Olympic/Professional pain sufferers (most of whom are injecting themselves with oxygenated blood bags, human growth hormone, and testosterone etc). To save energy everyone rides within a few inches of each other's wheels for hours on end. No full-face helmets, no boots, armor, very few hay bales, but lots of concrete, asphalt, drunk people, unleashed dogs, bridges, cliffs and cars waiting for you to slip up just for one moment.
I’m 64 and getting in shape to ride again..... building a 125yz 2000 because it will train me again to ride that pipe.. And the smell of bean oil....heck yea can’t wait...really going to piss off the neighborhood when I start riding again...they are use to seeing me on my 4 stroke three wheeler.....building that track a little every day...hey they moved next to me and built homes....lol I was here first....
Been following Ryan Hughes every since we raced 125's in the same class many many moons ago when he was a Kawasaki Team Green Rider (even before his Pro Circuit ride), and it is good to see him transition into a trainer. I transitioned in 1993. As a NASAM and ACE Certified Personal Trainer, there is no way I could get away with lack of form at my age, I would be injured for certain. Ryno is a monster for sure. I must use slow and controlled movement and even in my high energy exercise I must use absolutely perfect form or it will be doom for me.
Looseunit666 666 as is with most of us haha. We did "30min all in" moto's at my local track called the Wildman series. Bloody hard work but we weren't on the limit for the full 30 like these pros
does ryno still have the gym ? just watched his interview on whiskey throttle and he talked about his divorce , felt really bad for him, he's worked really hard and suffered alot of pains , but you will never see someone who believes in himself more than ryan , keep fighting mate, hope your feeling the love from here in england.
I like the Air Force shorts paying respect to his brother who is an Air Force KC135 pilot. I am an Air Force aircraft mechanic and have met him before. Such a great family, very nice people. Now just wish I could meet Eli...lol. Maybe someday
yeh your right targeting (quick twitch muscles)think thats what there called, helps speed and quick strength reactions just like on a bike need to incorperate body building for legs thats where most of your strength is,plus mega high rep work outs
It's not about building muscle it's about endurance. Go and try riding 20 minutes of an MX track at race speed and how much muscle helps you. These guys are way stronger and fitter than most of the buff looking guys I see in my gym.
finally someone who doesn't hate on stewart but realizes what he's done and gives him credit for being (in my opinion) the best motocross racer ever, thank you sir.
Jason Falcon 76 you should try 1 workout session with Gracy then match.. plus race that's one of the reasons why I was so pumped racing Ryan Dungy 07 loranger louisiana.
They do need those machines to work on their core muscles and to get more strength and durability to joints, in case they case a jump, they won't face big injuries.
Is this gym like a gym were i can go work out for motocross? If So How much Dose it cost a month and Were is this gym located and are there trainers there?
CHEK style brah. Keep a stricter eye on Eli's posture while doing S.B. DB press. Gonna tweak his neck. Looks like he needs some isolated shoulder strengthening as well as he struggles doing box step KB press. Hopefully he has a good A.R.T guy to dig in and get that released.
Well I said this after A1 and he couldnt touch him there infact. After phoenix I'd say hes almost his level, gonna be exiting^^ btw I'm rooting for him and btw2 lites west has just 5 races left now, not 15 so he better get going
i honestly dont think it is for your shoulders, its a variation of a flat dumbbell press. which is an exercise for chest and triceps mainly. im curious as to how the shoulders would be a big part of riding?
Ryan Dungy don't have to prove anything to anyone but himself.i realize now how great 9f a trainer to have such bad wrist and a list of injury maybe that tommorow is my birthday hopefully I get a heart from Rino.......! Always a chance.🇺🇲✈️🚁❤️🙏👀🇺🇲🦊🏁💯%
Jason Falcon 76 if you want to rule motocross Supercross Freestyle Motocross then learn how to surf a skim board. 2nd start training with the Gracy family and your good. Watch out for the TAP. WHICH I'VE NEVER DONE.
I really don't get the point of doing a variation of the bench press on a stability ball. It seems like doing fast reps on a bouncing ball adds momentum to the movement which reduces the amount of strain on your muscle tissue. You'd probably get better results doing slow reps on a normal bench.
All these people don’t understand they aren’t trying to bulk up they’re tryin to build better fitness and endurance. Bulking up won’t help you on the track
Some of these workouts look pretty uh unorthodox? Why all the kettle bell work? Not much resistance workouts like pressing or any sort of squatting, curls etc.
looks like a little bit to explosive for me, wouldn't it be better if they bring in a little more stability(slower controlled movement) and less of this swinging, i mean they don't need to be that explosive , cause the right hand is for the explosiveness and their body is here to make it stable . to keep the heart rate up some sprints or rowing in between but the dumbbell exercises slowly and controlled positive and negative, just my opinion .
hes doing it all wrong... ur supposed to go 3 seconds up and 3 seconds down. and hes using momentum he's cheating! justkidding- i hate people who have no idea about actual athletic training and say ur doing it wrong if ur not working out like a bodybuilder
Dominant? he is not. every top mxer trains hard, and has to find out what works best for him/her, doping is involved in every sport also motorcross, (cheaters), only in bodybuilding they use it to borrow more muscles:) Ryno works hard, train hard and that will pay off!! Rynopowerrrr!!
Damn-- flex isn't all, it's never power! Hence; 200lb bike-- with small arms? Dumb as hell! Lite weight, the quickness, of reps! Need slow, deep breathe reps. Match scuba- diver breathe.
With that stupid exercises the only thing you do is loosing weight, like running.... it doesn't make sense to use machines if you do the exercises like that, they won't grow up any ******* muscle with that
This is hands down the best circuit workout for motocross athletes, do this 3-4 times a week and you will be in top shape
Really hate some of these crap comments. Anyone who has ever raced motocross knows just how hard it is. I don't mean riding a motorbike. I mean high heart rate, raggedy edge, lactic acid, arm pump racing. These guys are fit, elite athlete fit.
Dont forget about pushing your endurance
ronnie mac says bullshit
I consider myself average in cardio and have done some pretty intense trail riding on DB and that shit really takes it out of you, especially the slow speed technical stuff, when you are moving quickly the bike is doing all the work, when, you are going slow you need to do all the work and balance is so critical, I compare a 3 mim highly technical enduro style route to a 3km run
Heart rate is almost guarantee to max
People genuinely don’t get it I don’t care what anyone says motor cross is the most physically demanding sport there is

Absolutely sir

Bad azz right there . . . I went into the YMCA and did that people would probably think I was nuts.
Awesome workout, I just turned 50 and would like to get back on my motocross bike again. Now I'm about as flexible as a broomstick!
Slowly but surely
I’m 64 and getting in shape to ride again..... building a 125yz 2000 because it will train me again to ride that pipe..

This isn't, do as I say, not as I do. This is, follow me, I've been there, I know this works. Rock on Ryno!! Good job Eli!!
I used to be fast mx rider but could only keep good laptimes for 4 laps these guys are machines
Looseunit666 666 as is with most of us haha. We did "30min all in" moto's at my local track called the Wildman series. Bloody hard work but we weren't on the limit for the full 30 like these pros
30 minutes plus
does ryno still have the gym ? just watched his interview on whiskey throttle and he talked about his divorce , felt really bad for him, he's worked really hard and suffered alot of pains , but you will never see someone who believes in himself more than ryan , keep fighting mate, hope your feeling the love from here in england.

Tiesto - Arguru
I like the Air Force shorts paying respect to his brother who is an Air Force KC135 pilot. I am an Air Force aircraft mechanic and have met him before. Such a great family, very nice people. Now just wish I could meet Eli...lol. Maybe someday
yeh your right targeting (quick twitch muscles)think thats what there called, helps speed and quick strength reactions just like on a bike need to incorperate body building for legs thats where most of your strength is,plus mega high rep work outs
It's all starting to make sense now. Dude is the truth
Hahaha. He would be a great rider if he could stay on the bike instead of crashing all the time.
Now I see why Roczen cant touch him^^ He's working all day while Roczen goes to Fastgood restaurants or goes to vacation :D
you dont know what ur talking about
Roczens doing really good this year. Don't get me wrong I'm rooting for tomac the whole way but roczens a pretty good racer
It's core and cardio the hole point is to not get big.
Being a champion is not easy. Tomac's competition for SX 2021 should watch this.
Be cool to find some footage of him riding mtn bike with his dad.
Whats the song ?
Eli is looking very dominant right now in the same way we saw Bubba back in the 125 era his style reminds me of Stanton.
Jason Falcon 76 you should try 1 workout session with Gracy then match.. plus race that's one of the reasons why I was so pumped racing Ryan Dungy 07 loranger louisiana.
Lotta tough exercises there
Looks like HIIT I wonder what times splits and rounds they are doing?
Ryno is a beast. I'm very surprised how old and crippled he is. To workout this hard.
What is the exercise at 0:20? how does it transfer over to motocross? what muscles are being worked and why?
ANIMALS!!! Dude I like that much, makes me wanna workout right now!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's Arguru - Deadmau5 actually
I workout like this everyday. I'ma ups delivery guy
Music please ? I love this song
Eli Tomac is a Badass....
They do need those machines to work on their core muscles and to get more strength and durability to joints, in case they case a jump, they won't face big injuries.
does not shirts increase performance or something?
have you even ridden a push bike and feel how quick your muslces must react?
Is this gym like a gym were i can go work out for motocross? If So How much Dose it cost a month and Were is this gym located and are there trainers there?
Copied this workout and it fuken works. It's no joke.
I ride and train all sorts of athletes and riders. Shows anyone can get a supplement line
CHEK style brah. Keep a stricter eye on Eli's posture while doing S.B. DB press. Gonna tweak his neck. Looks like he needs some isolated shoulder strengthening as well as he struggles doing box step KB press. Hopefully he has a good A.R.T guy to dig in and get that released.
it doesn't matter what anyone thinks about ricky carmichael, he was the best mx racer of all time. there is no debate.
FUZE Cloud McGrath out won him mathematically lol
Uh no. In sx only
Go Eli
Nice
Well I said this after A1 and he couldnt touch him there infact. After phoenix I'd say hes almost his level, gonna be exiting^^ btw I'm rooting for him and btw2 lites west has just 5 races left now, not 15 so he better get going
Well.. it works!
i honestly dont think it is for your shoulders, its a variation of a flat dumbbell press. which is an exercise for chest and triceps mainly. im curious as to how the shoulders would be a big part of riding?
Stupidest comment ever.
1:55 Yes, you are
Intense
Ryan Dungy don't have to prove anything to anyone but himself.i realize now how great 9f a trainer to have such bad wrist and a list of injury maybe that tommorow is my birthday hopefully I get a heart from Rino.......! Always a chance.🇺🇲✈️🚁❤️🙏👀🇺🇲🦊🏁💯%

Sonho em conhecer elay tomac
Hey, i have a serious question: Are those 4 or 5 different workouts enough? Or are there different workouts on different days? Thanks so much!
their fucking animal's. much respect
Jason Falcon 76 if you want to rule motocross Supercross Freestyle Motocross then learn how to surf a skim board. 2nd start training with the Gracy family and your good. Watch out for the TAP. WHICH I'VE NEVER DONE.

ENTRENAMIENTO PARA MOTOCROSS NO FITNES BOLUDON !!
Motocross equilibrio...

Deadmau5 - Arguru
Exactly, then you're with me that they don't need any of those machines..
are you allowed to wear a shirt in this gym?
No it’s a no shirt gym only
ET3 - strong -- fastest racer >> I certify in 2016.
hm Mh😻😌👊👌✌️👏l l
oju
Built like Bob Hannah back in the day...
I would also work on flexibility . Especially the older you get.
Check RacerX and their sister page RacerVT or something like that to see info about the workouts for both wannabe riders and pros
Wanna know how to know Tomac is the real deal? Answer: Farmers Tan baby
All these people don’t understand they aren’t trying to bulk up they’re tryin to build better fitness and endurance. Bulking up won’t help you on the track
Rino looks like he can do twenty Laps with only braking a sweat like a 20 year old.
Some of these workouts look pretty uh unorthodox? Why all the kettle bell work? Not much resistance workouts like pressing or any sort of squatting, curls etc.
Is motocross a normal sport? No so it needs to be a unorthodox training method
maybe because he has been on a 250 for way too long.. time to move up!
obviously shoulders big part of riding
looks like a little bit to explosive for me, wouldn't it be better if they bring in a little more stability(slower controlled movement) and less of this swinging, i mean they don't need to be that explosive , cause the right hand is for the explosiveness and their body is here to make it stable . to keep the heart rate up some sprints or rowing in between but the dumbbell exercises slowly and controlled positive and negative, just my opinion .
5 more like, lites dont run all the races remember, east/west coast...
Gee. Maybe that's why I never won a championship.
This makes football player’s workouts look like nothing
Why would a football do this kind of a workout when they're not doing 30 minute notes?
You train sport specific.
Have you seen "Ripped X Beast?" (Google it) It is a quick way for you to get ripped fast.
Wow...Eli you so fine 😊
Definitely Deadmau5, not Tiesto.
its deadmau5
Toop. !!!!
torture session lol =)
Roczen cant touch him? we are 2 races in dude, just 15 more to go...
It went full circle Roczen can’t touch him again.

He had better work out much harder than that, to beat Herlings as he laps Tomac.
Pas étonnant qu ils allument pendant 30 min sur la moto
He's still a lot better then u also he is very good motorcross rider
This is heavily inspired by Crossfit...has its footprints all over it....
Их че не кормят? Че дрыщи такие?

Herlings laps him
Johnny V hahahahahahahaah you're a goose. Not a chance. Eli gon get his back on herlings.
Haha i would love to see the idiots who try to copy the training in their gym and look like a dork!
Damn-- flex isn't all, it's never power! Hence; 200lb bike-- with small arms? Dumb as hell!

Ésto, en mi opinión, es una aberración!
