If you undone the top hat centre shock nut up ( a bit ) to take a bit of pressure / load off the spring you should be able to screw the adjuster nut up in the vehicle to turn the nut with the dobinson supplied spanners 👆
Great vid. What were your heights at the back on the high setting? I have the same suspension on my 2010 so it was good to see how to adjust if needed. Thanks!
Cheers! 🍻🍻 I couldn’t tell you on the rear, as we tricked the rear bags without measuring and a couple of washers under the bracket which has raised it around 2”.
by the looks of it your spring is too compressed after the final adjustment ? your going to notice a big difference in handling feeling the bumps more I reckon . u'll prob need new components ?
Hey mate they came with car when I bought it as a second owner. But from the paperwork and what I’ve read from delivery. ARB only offered kdss scrubs from 2009-2010. They then changed to a universal Prado/gx460 design as kdss scrubs weren’t a huge seller
I hate to tell you this but youve over compressed these springs badly, Obviously you spring rates are just too light, Probably a C59-300 (should be on the little white tag). The maximum you should wind them up is about 50mm of thread showing. Any more and you will have coil bind. Your springs are now going to bind and will give you a metal to metal dead stop when you hit a big bump. You will end up breaking something. Give Dobinson a call, they will tell you the max you can go and also what the correct spring rate should be. Id be using an C59-352 coil or a 354 and have about 40-45 mm of thread showing with a similar height.

Well done , you did a good job, Now for my airbags , which failed after 14 Yrs , Cheers 🤠❤️🇦🇺
I’m dreading the airbags failing 🤣 their a great bit of kit and handy when hooking up the trailer but bloody expensive to replace! 🍻
Throw the WD40 over the back fence and have a look at the Lanotec range, so much better then WD40. Citraforce degreaser is also amazing.
When does Sorcha head home ?
It’s a bit of a secret at the moment as some of her family watch and it is a bit of a surprise! 😂
Looks like a monster truck now .. 👍🏻. Way better than before 🍺🍺
Hopefully we wind being half the beach home with us now! 😂🍻🍻
I have just had my kakadu lifted and need to fix.the lean, how did you space the air bags and where did you source the spacers from.

Let me know if you need a close up and I can show you the bracket to space out

Hopefully not. We’ve just done 400km with it and feels a little stiffer but not that bad. Will see how it goes off-road
Absolutely way over compressed, Somethings going to break if you dont fix this.
Hi is that C724? I got dual battery and arb bull bar. Thinking of upgrading it with dobinson. What do you do with rear airbag
Not mechanically minded but great job Jack 👌🏻
Cheers!! 🥂🥂
