I don’t know if it’s my favorite project of yours since you have so many complex and detailed works but my favorite video so far was the Resin art Toy Collab you did with ArtiqFox. It was interesting to see the collaboration between the two of you. My favorite part of that video was the packaging part it was so satisfying watching all the little guys get signed and crated.
Oh and in the future I’d love to see more collabs and more cool packaging!
Congrats on 5,000 you deserve it!🎉

The big project I'm working on is taking the first step into design/art toy creation and it was inspired by watching your videos. This has been going on for a few months now and just like you talked about in this video, its so hard to keep going sometimes and for almost the same reasons - there's so much I want to do but I can't do those things until I finish these. I had done short form content creation in the past that was semi-successful and I want to both make toys and videos about them. I have so many ideas that I get so overwhelmed that its hard to commit. Recently I moved from FDM to Resin printing and this has been another hurdle thats making this venture extremely discouraging. But I've showed prototypes to friends and families and theyre so supportive and encouraging that its helping me get to this next step. And no joke, this specific video was another one of those final pushes I needed to keep going - seeing someone whos done this for more than a decade going through similar struggles helps me realize I'm not alone in how I feel and operate through this. So thanks for the inspiration and can't wait for the next video! Hopefully I'll be posting some in the future too!

This was such an enlightening video. Your perseverance really kept me glued to my screen. Droids are one of my favorite aspects of Star Wars. I made a purple BB-8 at DW and I love it!

Hey bro, I'm at the 14:00 mark. And you've honestly inspired me. I have my first toy business meeting tomorrow, and I can't wait to get started. I know it ain't going to be easy, and I'm ready for the challenges. Watching people in their craft is such a cool thing to see. I feel so lucky to be alive in this era we are all in now. Much love from NZ

Love all your work! In terms of the biggest project, re painting my first Gundam model and making a diorama out of it, was quite a big undertaking for someone who'd never done anything like that before. After 3 years its still sat on my desk looking better than ever!

The biggest project I had to overcome was customizing 20 Kidrobot munnies for Lloyd Kaufman to sell at New York Comic Con. I undersold them because I was excited about having a famous director interested in my work and I spent all my free time sculpting and painting. It was very nerve wracking. It wasn’t my largest custom order but it was big.
R2-D2 is my favorite character. He’s so sassy.
Babyfloatz are my favorite of your characters! They’re so cute

I just got into art toy making. I started off as an illustrator but slowly I want to create my own toys. Recently I was invited to be part of a collaboration. 55 artists were brought together to create art for a deck of playing cards. Part of the launch was each artist had to submit a piece for the exhibit. It was my first time custom painting a figure and I had so much fun. The difficult part was learning how to mix paint, planning which parts to paint first, and learning how to use an airbrush for the first time - not to forget how to clean it afterward lol. It was an awesome experience and I wish to do more. I love watching your videos cause it helps me learn other techniques I could do. I'm thinking of downloading nomadsculpt soon. Looking forward to more videos! Please keep creating :D

My biggest project yet to overcome is creating my fantasy world. I've had story ideas in my head for years, but I just can't seem to get them out the way I want. Writing isn't really my cup of tea, although I'd like to be able to write properly. So I've decided to learn how to draw, so that I can show off some of the ideas I've got in my head, and also maybe do a few short comics and bring some major characters to life through 3d sculpting. So procreate and nomad sculpt are my best friends at the moment!

I build lots of complex things for a living, so picking one big project challenge I had to overcome overcome is tough. A toy robot project challenge for me was building a 3D zoetrope of toy robots (Makey the Robot) and figuring how to make everything during a three week power outage from a hurricane. It involved rethinking how to make some of the pieces, having another shop 3D print some parts, and moving my laser cutter to another location where power had been restored.

I backed your Kickstarter that time as this, no.1 gave me an opportunity to own a product you created and secondly this inspired me, like you, to follow my dream of creating a product, marketing it and selling to people. Watching your journey and passion for what you do every day shows people that we can do it too. You have even inspired me to be more precise on my work space and creating nice zonal areas after your workshop fly through. Just to finish off, I love the Star Wars aesthetic you have developed and Mando is my main character.

Hi! Albert here from Mallorca. I’m a toy maker too. I love what you do and have learned so much from you. I really appreciate everything you share with all of us.
My biggest project has been a toy called Toyoyo. It has a large open mouth with all its teeth, which was a nightmare to work on. And those epoxy eyes… uff. There was a lot of sanding involved, plus figuring out the right packaging. You’re absolutely right-it’s a lot of effort to put into such a tiny little sculpture. But I really enjoyed it.
One Star Wars character that really impacted me is Darth Maul, but I think Ahsoka is so cool too.
    Thanks for everything, man!

Incredibly captivating mate. I love that you’re a family man and making your craft work for you. I also loved how you’re very real when it comes to burn out and how you feel at each step. I often end up rushing things when I see the end is near. But it’s better to step back.
I’m glad the rain didn’t mess it up too much. You deserve more that 5k* subs

Cool little droid! My biggest obstacle was a mural that was 175ft long by 30-35 ft tall was the first time I was on a lift, it was during construction so I had to follow all their guidelines, I had the lift delivered and they didn’t pour the concrete, so I had to call and get it removed, then they poured concrete but didn’t tell me it was stamped concrete so I had to get super thick plywood to make a pathway. The ground had a slight slope and I hade no clue the lift wouldn’t go past a certain point so I had to build a sturdy wooden ramp! Ha, What a huge learning curve,

Love seeing these droids! My current big artistic project is actually painting and wiring up a 3D robot head from a game. It's difficult because I'm learning how to paint stuff that looks like weathered and beat up metal for the first time.

These videos are so dope. This is inspiring me to buy a 3D printer and begin doing this with my son as this is something he’s finding that he has a lot of interest in. The hardest project I’ve had to overcome was creating a video masterclass teaching creatives how to film, edit and produce teaching videos. The challenge was trying to figure out the best way to simply explain the nuanced techniques I learned producing TV and what made it great and adapting that for recap clips for corporate style Ted talks and such. Naturally boring but can be done well for content. I had to get over my fear of looking stupid and arrogant at the same time and realize it can help people learn and sell themselves on this skill later. Man, I really appreciate you breaking down your entire process. You’re talented man!!

Answering the biggest projects question - It was "Big" for me; I needed to make a wall mount for my son's crib mobile (that his Mimi hand stitched and he adores) when he switched to a twin bed. It was really challenging to not only get the shape/dimensions correct, but do so in an entirely new program with essentially no 3d printing experience at that point. Sketchup experience didn't transfer to Fusion well for me. It took me about 3 weeks of off and on drawing to get the shape right (would have taken me 1 hour in Sketchup), then another week to get the dimensions/strength settings nailed and printed.

What a wonderful mix of design, sculpting, making, and fun! Well DONE! I always wanted to be an artist, and the big project that you've had to overcome was figuring out what it actually MEANS to be an artist. It was difficult to balance my drive to create and figuring out how to support a family. I've had some success over the years and I throughly enjoy seeing your success! Biker Scouts are my favorite Star Wars characters. The Scouts and Ewoks would make a fine edition to your series. I'd love to see your take on them. We should be friends. :D

Love your calming videos, this little droid turned out so cute! My most challenging project was when I FDM printed Bruni from Frozen 2 as a gift for my sister. The high settings took over 26 hours to print a 3 inch figure on my Monoprice Mini. Then had to sand, prime and paint which I find getting paint to stick to PLA very tough, even with priming, it was really a labor of love :) Favorite character from Star Wars has always been Jaba the Hut (don't know why) and then more recently Grogu and Ahsoka. Favorite character that you have created would be the collab you did with ArtiqFox followed closely by Barry Bones. I love to see the process behind how you make your original 3D toys, I want to get into resin printing and have found your channel to be very inspiring!

Been working on making a 1:1 copy of an E-11 blaster from real sourced parts. Almost there but still a few more molds to figure out to get the best casting results. Would love to see a lot more 3D sculpting tutorials as I hope to get started but looking for some easier ways to get started as its overwhelming.

Favorite Star Wars character would always have to be Darth Revan. Playing KOTR was one of the best games of my childhood. One project I've had to overcome was 3D print production for my friends board game. Making all the pieces and getting them out in reasonable time has been a challenge. Printing dice and filling t hem in has been the most challenging to do.

(ps you can see my Cal kestis poncho I made to go with the jumpsuit in my profile picture)

There are projects that that excite me and I bang em out and there some some that I enthusiastically start and weeks go by and I'm looking a partially painted bits all over my desk and you have to muster theat original enthusiasm to get back on the project and finish it. Loved watching the process. I will look into your patreon. Also excited to get your thoughts on zbrush in the iPad. I just downloaded nomad and committing my 2025 to learning and creating my own prints.

WagWan brother. Firstly love that content, brilliant stuff, never been one for commenting on videos but I want that droid so here I am. I studied model design at university, a great course but truly a waste of time. Seeing you just make toys while talking really helps, just understanding nothing can make you great apart from just putting in the hard work. I don't understand how the algorithm has taken me to this video but I'm glad it has. I understand the road is tough so I have the utmost respect for you for taking it and I hope to one day muster up the courage to do the same. Trust I will be revisiting your channel even if you don't give me that super cool ass toy. Farouvrite's star wars character is that small green guy who does dem back flips, he's proper radical.

Biggest project? Can it be my current life situation? I was working in foster care and it became too much. My mental health was at an all time low so I resigned. Now I’m on the hunt for a new passion and also income. I don’t have the energy to much creating right now, so my project is survival. My favorite Star Wars character??? Obi Wan? Ahsoka? Qui Gon? I don’t know. So many good options. Anakin’s story arc is also amazing.

just found your channel and I'm so impressed, I've been doing model making and 3d printing for about 3 years now and my biggest project so far has been a 3 foot tall statue of kid Goku on his nimbus cloud it has truly been a chore, I started two years ago, it's an amalgam of two 3d models I found online and its huge and heavy, my brother loves the original dragon ball show so he commissioned me to make it for him and it's been quite the wait but its nearing the end and he loves it so far.

My biggest project has been one I'm still working on. I've been building an ecommerce platform that blends together elements of ecommerce and social sites. The goal is to build something to allow creators and artists to connect with fans while also finding their passions. Creating a new business and overcoming all the aspects of it has been difficult but I'm close. Also favorite sta wars character has always been R2. I typically love all the droids but R2 has always been my fav.

Wouldn't it make more sense to print larger but fewer droids? That way you can start painting while you're still printing and processing so you're never working on the same part of the project at the same time and you can actually see and feel the progress you're making giving you the sense of competition. Also you need to use spray gun type airbrushes for larger coverage on parts. Love the work you do. I learned a bunch. Efficiency is key
