Nice trials … still a problem to get the exact shape with one spline … More control with 3 splines, one at each bottom and one at the ridge but this generates to independent surfaces 😢 I wonder … although the ridge spline is common for the 2 surfaces but when Revit divide the divisions don’t match! I thought that the splines at the bottom & the top are equally divided by u or v numbers then these divisions are connected together … but apparently it is not that what Revit does ! I also thought to use ref planes but it won’t work cause the plane is infinitely loooong :)
It depends. I think structural framing makes more sense, but if it is only for concept, mass, divided path, pattern based, and adaptive family are easier.
