There is something hilariously ironic about a band named "Art of Anarchy" constantly running to the legal system to save them
Creed? Disturbed? “With arms wide ooo ah ah ah pen”
😂😂😂
😜
Both bands aren't good
That's pretty messed up, to leave a band hanging, when it was barely starting, but It sounds like neither of them got off Scott-free.
;)
Groan
Rim shot.
This is funny on so many levels! 😆😂😆😂
🤦🏻♀️
When I heard you say Union Underground, I instantly thought of "Across The Nation".
move to the music!! play that f*****n music!!!!!!!!!
Always liked Scott and Creed. I hope the Creed guys get together again some day and put out a new record. The last one they did together is easily one of my favorites.
A great album indeed, lots of simple but heartfelt bangers.
So much talent.
Full circle is better than all of alter bridge's albums every song on that record was amazing.
@@Watermonkey357 oh no man. Definitely not
Real ones have battles but fake ones just get along with the world and love it
@@Watermonkey357 uhhh no
Creed seemed like where Scott felt most at home lyrically. Hopefully they do get back for an album to possibly ground him. His words helped me a lot in the past. Unfortunate how it’s all worked out for the band he ditched.
I dont know Scott and there clearly has been some issues with him, but damn Creed was such a great band. It's such a shame they cant put differences aside and put things in the past.
Mark Tremonti could have told you that. Amazing how every member of Creed (except Scott Stapp) started Alter Bridge, and there is no drama. 20 years, all 4 members are the same. Brian Marshall had a stint in rehab, and they waited for him to get healthy, before continuing.
@reconz 82299 Its a different band with a different sound, apples and.oranges
@reconz-em6gj Pls, Miles is levels above Scott in the singing department, also he's one hell of a guitar player.
@@oysterhead5150 It’s “Myles”’not Mikes you buffoon! Myles sounds like a Billy goat
@reconz 82299 they’re good but not Creed good!
Thank you for including the date in the description.
It seems like Scott will have a life long battle with demons. Last time saw him he looked like he was in a good space. I wish him nothing but good thoughts.
Yep. Being raised by hardcore religious parents will fuck you up pretty good.
This particular thing was somewhere in 2017 if I remember correctly, still he is certainly better these days
john moyer keep rocking out my dude same for your disturbed band mates
But what does Corey Taylor think about this
moily
Somehow this never gets old
@@Scuba_Bro really? I was over it years ago. I guess your easily entertained
Lol, Loudwire is the source for that information
Why does Cory's thoughts Matter?
Art Of Anarchy was amazing. It's a shame they didn't hold it together.
I got to work with Moyer on a recording project a few years back and he is 100% a full fledged professional and knows how to make damn good songs. He's down to Earth and has a great sense of humor, but always prioritized taking care of business.
Say what you want, I love Scott Stapp and his music. Creed has been my favorite band ever since I was two
Listen to Anvil !
@@williamboyle8918 I just heard that song “Ghost Shadow” and I must admit I liked it, but I’m not understanding what it has to do with Scott?
Weiland got paid 230,000 and sued for 20 million 😂
What part of that don’t I understand??
Sounds fair to meeee...😂🤣😂🤣😂
Breech of contract. That was the estimated profits of the band had they moved forward. Then split between lawyers, band members, management, possibly studio debt, etc.
That's based on " potential" income. They were potentially going to earn $20 million if all obligations were met. SW derailed that potential when he abruptly walked away.
well it involved a bunch of tiny hat wearing lawyers and speculation.. just like the financial system.
I highly doubt that band would have made 50k.
A glorified Bar Band.
Key takeaway, don't join this band or they will probably sue you.
🤣 maybe that's the "scam" band Weiland mentioned, basically they hire a singer just so they can sue them for money lololol
^This
He deserves to be sued. He made a legal agreement & didn't keep his part. If he didn't want to do it he shouldn't have signed a legal document. Facts are facts.
I know John from way back in the Union Underground days. He's a real genuine dude, and I trust everything that comes from him.
Wow haven't heard that name in a while. I saw them in 97 and their stage show scared the living ish outta me. The psychedelics prolly exacerbated the latter statement
I was 20 feet from him when they played Sandy's (a now closed venue in the sticks of Central Texas between Belton and Killeen) with Union Underground on a "stage" that was like 8 inches off the ground from all the people sitting at patio tables to hear them play. They were SO GOOD LIVE. I'll never forget it.
John Moyer is laughable saying he wrote half the album. Scott wrote all the lyrics & vocal melody which Is considered 2/3 of the whole album so there’s only 1/3 to speak off to divide between all the guys. 1 song Scott Stapp had already released solo and so only he had a hand in writing that song…
So, one side of the story. Bravo.
Seems like a lots of lawsuits, just saying.
Right? And this one has drug out for years so it must not have been a slam dunk case. What kind of band sues all their front men when the album flops ? I’m sure the creative process of bringing very different artists together made them ALL “moody” at some point. But because Stapp has a history their going to scapegoat him. I don’t believe he was the force that led to the demise. And he isn’t the one with the unworkable ego … just sayin … that was a good album but there was SO much going on it never felt cohesive. That isn’t the vocals …
I’ll tell you a little something about Stapp. I have family who live in his neighborhood a see him at functions and say he’s very nice and is a family oriented person. No hint of being funky in any way.
I found that 1st album they did for a couple bucks and it was pretty decent. But Stapp was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder so him having great days or bad sounds right. But the wildest part is both lead singers quit soon in. Did Weiland ever discuss the band ?
Was this before or after Scott Stapp got sober, everyone goes through their own journey, and Scott Stapp has wrestled the devil and has come back out on top. There needs to be some type of agreement without suing.
After. Did you even watch the video? Wtf
The problem is, is that they wanted a known singer to carry the band. They would have been perfectly fine if they would have just used a friend or some other cool singer like what bands used to do...but no, they wanted to make a mini super-group. That was the problem and why there is drama. Too many egos. The only way this would have worked is if the WHOLE band comprised of "equally" credible and ego-centric members...Audioslave, Temple of the Dog, and Velvet Revolver as popular examples.
Moral of the story: Lead singers are usually really dramatic and kind of selfish. Sadly, it will only get worse as they experience fame over time 😂
That's why it's so funny to see trendy bands like Creed play bowling allies when they're all washed up and their teenage fan base is all grown up and realize how shitty the music was.
Yeah, lead singer syndrome....
Hell yeah, few vocalists out there that aren't narcissistic assholes!
Facts - I can speak to that personally
It's usually lead guitarist whom are full of themselves. 😆 🤣
I swear the subscribe thing is so annoying. They should make it where if you have already subscribed it’s skips that section 😅 love your content brother 🤘😎
2 diff lead singers bolt from a band right off the bat?! Hmm
Union Underground were one of the best post grunge bands to never really make it. I saw them in 1997 and had a great time at their show. I wish I would have bought an album right then and there, because it would take another year to finally find one in stores.
Literally just bought the record and a live record from them yesterday... union underground was awesome
Lol I remember them but I cant remember what they sounded like.
Union Underground was a nu metal band. Hands Down. Saw them live a couple times in 2000. South Texas Deathride was a banger!
Saw them in 2001. Great live show, but couldn't get in to the CD at the time.
Love the Art of Anarchy album the Madness
I’ve worked with Ron (Bumblefoot) and I can tell you for sure he would never be involved in anything that’s a Scam or Fake. He has values and isn’t that kind of person or musician.
never heard of em
This is a great way to never get a new singer.
It's not very Anarchist (TM) of them to be getting in all these lawsuits.
The law and ground rules are very fundamental to anarchists. Anarchists just don't want governments to get involved in that process.
@@SoundAsleepSpace Tell that to Somalia lol

@@robdubent LOL. I'm just asking questions, brosef.
I love S.T.P.and I like some creed stuff too but they picked the 2 worst frontmen in the world when it comes to reliability.
I thought the album with Stapp was a pretty good Modern Melodic Hard Rock album and it’s a shame that things didn’t work out. Hope Art of Anarchy can get somebody else and release a 3rd album with no issues.
I can tell the band "Art of Anarchy" came together organically. It's Art of Anarchy people. It's practically part of the forming a band organically how to manual. Color by numbers edition.
Sounds like this their hustle.
Why would you hire Stapp? He followed hallucinations out of creed.
I went to an art of anarchy show as soon as the show ended Scott Stapp disappeared. The other band members stayed to greet fans and sign autographs. I was wondering why the singer wasn’t around. I don’t have all the facts, but it was odd to me.
singers cant talk after singing for 90 minutes,it stresses their voice
Woah.
Today on things everyone should have seen coming.
What ever happened to Union Underground ?
Ouch this sounds Rough coming from John Moyer I would think that Scott Stapp from Creed would be a good person to work with but it sounds like the opposite
It's called the Scott stapp infection. Some people get the clapp some people get the stapp!
Bands fault for choosing those frontmen. Who's next Sebastian Bach!?
Dave Mustaine
Crazy.
44 yrs old and I have never even heard of this "Art of Anarchy"🤷♀️
they should start a band named after whatever Newmans name was in jurrasic park.
Sued weiland 20 million for leaving? What clowns.
When he made 230,000? Lmao
Maybe it had to do with lost contracts, and projected revenue… can’t say, as I’m not a member of the band. 🤷♂️
Too bad. The album they made with Scott Stapp was amazing
One shitty band calls out another shitty band. "That is one big pile of shit "Dr. Ian Malcolm
I think Scott W. definitely got scammed by these guys towards the end of his life. Pisses me off more than anything. But part of that was Weiland sometimes biting off more than he could chew. Why Stapp, too? They just needed a dude with the first name Scott? What was their first single? “Scotty Doesn’t Know (We’re Getting 2 Mil from Him?)” You have anarchy in your name. That’s some ironic bs.
how was art of anarchy getting 2 million from stapp if stapp would have sung for 90 shows? 2 why do you think stapp bailed on art of anarchy?
Dude needs to get over it scott was clearly struggling with mental health problems drugs alcohol he had to do what was best for him which was quit he's doing better now but the problems are always gonna be there scott just has to hold em in check
What did they expect out of Scott Weiland? That guy really didn't have the best record of dependability...
STP, Velvet Revolver, the Wildabouts… killed most of them
Art of Anarchy is yet another project that should have went so much better for Bumblefoot than it did.
Yeah, he’s never been utilized to his fullest potential in any of these projects/bands he’s tried. It’s a shame.
@@joefeeney5497 I couldn't agree more.

Stapp went through some hard times after Creed split up. I liked Creed back in the day.
Scott stapp is a legend
A return from Creed is the last thing the music business needs.
Really?? In this era you’d rather have the music we have now then a band full of actual talented musicians ?? Whatever floats your shitty boat then
Creed without Stapp is now called Alter Bridge, and talent wise, lead singer Myles Kennedy is 50,000 times better than Stapp. Tremonti also has an amazing voice, so Creed never really needed Stapp anyway.
Creed- The music sounds the same on every song, and the lyrics kind of do too....wahahahahahaha
@BMO JO only to idiots
@💜 Chloe Preston 💜 He's a poser there's nothing authentic about him
And as we all know and is public knowledge. Scott Stapp was diagnosed as bi-polar and is now being properly treated for it. Everyone keeps forgetting that part about it. Nobody wants to hear the drama. Just go back and play in Disturbed and move on.
The beef we didn’t know we needed
The Madness, The Sickness, The Infection, Perfect Insanity, Asylum, Haunted..''super creative'' yea..idk how you guys do it..
How does the Riddler say it? "What is it that no man wants to have, yet no man wants to lose?"
Just because this bassist had the balls to call out Scott Stapp, doesn't give you the right to call him "disturbed" in the title of this video.
See what I did there?😂
Two Scott’s 😂🙏🙏
Lol please don’t bring back creed, we don’t need another “with arms wide open” song out there
There's no way Creed would make fame the way they did again, at least not organically. Back in the 00's, we thought of "with arms wide open" the exact same way today's people criticize "clout rap" like 6ix9ine: "trendy garbage that's a fad" type of talk. And with rock, we're not really seeing Creed's flavor top the charts; we see some new _punk rock_ artists like MGK and Willow get some recognition but the post-grunge thing has no momentum in the mainstream. If you asked a genz kid off the street who Stapp or Tremonti were, they wouldn't know, and if you said Creed, they'd think of the movie or Creed Bratton from The Office.
That said, there are two highly specific scenarios that Creed could gain momentum: movie soundtrack uses their song, or their song blows up on TikTok.
@@angeldiaz762 if they come back it will be 100% just as terrible as they were before, and I have no clue what clout rap or the band you’re talking about is.
You ever google the meaning of Anarchy ?
Oh the irony.
I've always loved both Disturbed and Stapp, so seeing this was depressing. It's hard to believe anyone's words in the music industry. Wasn't Scott having serious mental health issue back then? It's why he finally gave up alcohol.
My ex had lawsuit with guns and roses. Sad they have had so many cause they copied others 🎶 music. Cause they were talented.
Of course it was denied when obvious lol
Sadly I don't think Scott Stapp is a bad singer, but unfortunately he doesn't seem to have the skills to keep his trainwreck of a personal life separate from his professional life.
Good luck, even though Disturbed's John Moyer maybe absolutely right in what he's saying and doing legally, we all know you can't take something away from nothing, or get blood from a stone. Unfortunately after Creed, Scott Stapp just mentally lost himself, and he's just "not there" anymore. Even though Stapp is a talented singer, he doesn't have anything to take of monetary value. I wouldn't doubt if he's living on someone's couch at the moment. It's sad how far Scott Stapp fell to hit rock bottom, John Moyer, and everyone else should know this. I'm absolutely NOT defending Stapp's actions towards Art of Anarchy. John Moyer has every right to feel the way he does, but to pursue Stapp legally, when he's at the bottom poor, broken, and mentally fractured, I personally don't think it's necessary. I'm a huge fan of Disturbed, and being so successful, they are all most likely living VERY comfortably. What does Moyer think he's honestly going to get from Stapp? Besides possibly verbal recognition??? I'm honestly surprised that Stapp is still with us, and he hasn't died somewhere, in some gutter, by his own hands or accidentally. It's very sad, Stapp has nothing accept to constantly travel as some homeless nomad. I hope he gets his shit together and returns to the music scene. I loved Creed, and it's too bad Stapp had to sabotage the best thing in his life. He ruined it for his fellow band mates and himself. Mark Tremonti especially, and the rest just couldn't handle Stapp anymore, even so, with all the bad blood, I hope Stapp gets the help he needs, gets stabilized and makes a comeback at some point when he's ready.
Uhmm. Where have you been the last years? Scott is doing better than he ever has in my opinion.
If you wanted Stapp or Weiland in your band, then that's on you; why do that to yourself?
The Bassist sounds like a stand up guy.
The guy is a tool, creed was ok for its time. After that this dude's true colors started to show.
i’m really stating to get annoyed with these “rock feed” channels that have been coming out of the woodwork in the last couple years…they basically read off wikipedia or read from other interviews from websites that have put the work in…ok if your gonna say these type of channels “report” the music news(like this guy is doing at the end), fine but it’s only about 5% of the video
Stapp is nuts. Gonzo. Unstable. Unworkable.
Employing two uncontrolled bipolar disorder sufferers will get you some tough times.
Well there's 2 sides to every story if haveing Scott Staff was like haven a shit show and you didn't get get much out of him work wise then I would think you would want him gone I would like to hear Scott's side also and contract what's the contract say I find it hard to believe Scott would just break a contract
yup, I get why rap took over
Well that sounds like a good way to make a lot of money start a band get people in it they don’t wanna do it leave it soon for $20 million sounds like a New American Way, Sue Sue Sue
