I have both phones and your review was spot-on. I don't know exactly why, but I keep gravitating back to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I can't point to any one specific thing, though voice dictation is probably high on my list. It's a lot of little things that just add up to a great overall experience.
Always had the Google Nexus phones back in the day for most of the reasons you've mentioned but the camera. Now I'm on my second Fold, the 6, and won't consider another phone without pen support. I always use the pen for pointing to keep the screen clean. Also had to sign a contract this week and was able to actually sign instead of using the default signature. Another thing, reviewers don't seem to be aware that most sites allow enlarging the screen to full screen which removes the bars. This makes the inner screen enormous for content. Also Samsung has no camera notch which makes it even more immersive
Had I saw this video first before buying the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, I would have jump straight for the Z Fold6 instead all because of the charging coil alignment and the use of MagSafe compatibility. Most MagSafe cases for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold are in the wrong place and the magnet interferes with the phone. I did find a case that's actually in the correct place is the Pitaka. Using the MagSafe did not cause any issues with the phone. Any Pixel Fold users who loves to use a MagSafe accessory, get a Pitaka case or you can get a Dbrand skin and get those tear down skins and place the Spigen MagSafe ring so you know exactly where to place it though be warned lol your OCD will kick in 😅😂
This was a great review! I agree with you! The pixels front screen kills z fold 6 I have both. Every other week I swap my sim card out between the two. Call screen is sweet on the pixel. I love that I can use Dex and watch movies from my phone straight to my TV. Haptics are better on Pixel Fold.. It's hard to pick between the two.. they both are 🔥! Gotta subscribe to your channel 💪🏽
Appreciate it man!! Yeah it's so tough to choose between these two because they each have such great qualities! I cannot wait to see what Samsung does with the Z Fold 7 next year! I have a feeling it's gonna be a game changer
I took m P9PF back after about 10 days because of an incurable Blue Tooth problem. Maximum 6 foot range to me Bose head phones, terrible connection to my hearing aids, Dropping connection to my car (Phone as a Key). I tried every control in Settings/developer... nothing helped. I'm not the only one, Google it. Too bad, I REALLY liked it otherwise.
Dang, I'm sorry that happened to you! I never experienced any bluetooth issues in my testing but it's hard to say if that's a defect with just your unit or if the entire P9PF line is defective
The Pixel 9 series has 16GB RAM but 4GB of that is always in use for Ai core services. This makes it more like a 12GB device and that's why you see the Samsung keeping more apps in ram with less refreshes.

@bigdrews4360 - If you were held at gunpoint and told that you could only pick one, which one are you picking?

Wait why the f*** did Google sell me a 45 w charger with this phone if it only can take 25.?

The MagSafe ring on Z Fold 6 looks so much nicer than the one on Pixel 9 Pro Fold.. misaligned = ugly 😂
Dude, all your critiques of the pixel can't just amount to "idk why Google doesn't just make their experience more like Samsung" lol
If making the experience BETTER for the user means "make it like samsung" then sure, let's go with that
Zfold is str8 🔥
The pixel 9 pro fold!!
Samsung utterly sucks at voice to text accuracy!!!!!!!!!!!! 😳😳😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😡😡😡😡😡😵😵😵😵😵😵😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫🤯🤯🤯
