This game really feels ahead of its time. While it only ran 30fps originally it’s really impressive that Naughtydog found a way to eliminate load times on the PS4 and the graphics look up to par with some PS5 games to date.
Theres no difference whatsoever in terms of graphic standpoint smoother framerates yes but is it worth it too throw down 60 bucks on 2 games that you most likely already played..no.If you havnt played them then absolutely for sure.
After seeing some movies in 60fps my eyes can no longer stand the stuttering in those 24fps movies. Give me the smooth (soap opera) effect 60fps can give games and movies anytime. It's only a matter of time before it becomes the standard.
As much as the smooth 60fps looks slick on the PS5, the 30fps from the PS4 really doesn't take much away but adds to the overall cinematic look & feel of the game.
@@awayrnus4546 same for me. 40-45fps is the best of both worlds for third-person. Smoother but still cinematic. It also hides all kind of micro stutters, much more noticeable on 60+ fps.

We have more high-quality exclusives for PS5 right now than we had after the same amount of time for either PS4 or PS3. And definitely more than Series X has at the moment. Not to mention you can play last-gen games in your new machine, which you couldn't do on PS4.

We have just about managed to get 1080p 60fps on consoles and the push for 4k 60fps on ps5 is pointless when you make the game look terrible. TV makers should have gone with 1440p instead and prioritised frame rates.
It definitely looks better on PS5 but this game wasn’t designed to take advantage of the PS5’s power. So imagine how incredible Uncharted 5 is going to be!
Remember when games in different generations look SO DIFFERENT like night and day? (Golden Eye on N64 vs Halo on Xbox) Now they look identical with some framerate difference 🙄
This about it in a form of angles. You start off with a triangle and then start adding points. After awhile things start to smooth out to the point where adding another pointing isn't as drastic as going from a triangle to a square. Gaming will become more about quality of life as graphics get better.
Full 4k/30 (compared to 1440p/30 on PS4 Pro) mode, and 1080p/120FPS mode as well. Higher LOD, textures, and effects, and instant loading into chapters compared to 45+ second loading on the PS4 Pro. Also better audio mixing (Tempest) for surround sound on headphones, and proper Dual Sense feedback on PS5.
Funny part this games climbing mechanics are much more fluid than Assassins Creed. Both are third person views. Yet a game that's also partly about navigating/parkouring doesn't have such smooth parkour mechanics? Weird. Dying Light 2 Mirrors edge have great ones. Both openworls
If this is your first Uncharted game, don't ruin it for yourself. Play 1-3 on PS Now if you have the chance, the story is worth it. They should have done a complete collection of all 5 games on PS5/PC
What pisses me off is that they'll just make you stress yourself downloading the entire game again for no apparent reason when you already have the physical ps4 version that a simple patch will have given the 60fps upgrade There is absolutely no difference between the ps4 version with a 60fps patch and this so called fraudulent remaster.
The PS4 pro game was one of the best I've ever played, the PS5 version looks the same but 60 or 120fps, it's a poor legacy edition if that's all they added
@@elliotyorkcameron793 To be fair, when looking at it without seeing or reading said details and changes made through the PS5 patch, there really isn't any obvious differences, other than the framerate and loading times on their own.
Gameplay is of course smoother on PS5 but seeing the big set action pieces side by side it’s just got that true big screen cinematic feel at 30fps on PS4.

Ehhh the multiplayer is a bit of a let down for me, after playing uncharted 3 multiplayer for so long and the grind doesn't seem rewarding but I'll still play U4

The thing is, you will never know the true difference when u are watching from a RUclips video. You get the best looks when you are actually playing the game. Apart from 30hz to 60 but that upgrade alone is a huge difference. And it's a remaster. They only remodel and make things look better. If it was uncharted 5 or a complete new game. It would usually look much much better as it's made for the console.
ND’s cinematic games have always been perfectly suited towards 30 fps, giving the illusion of playing a movie, which is lost a bit in exchange for the fluidity. ND should always target 30 in their current games.

For some reason , because this game is extremely cinematic , the 30 fps does look better in the cutscenes and reminds more of a movie . The 60 fps though is obviously better in gameplay and much smoother

Surprisingly, the 30fps on PS4 Pro really holds up pretty well for this particular game, mainly due to giving it a more cinematic feel to it.

8 years since release and this game has aged so well. Still looks absolutely stunning and plays so smoothly
