Dark Knight Takes Downtown L.A. | Jetset Featurette

Downtown Los Angeles' Grand Avenue is a popular filming location. The street's unique architecture-which creates an Upper Grand and a Lower Grand-provides a prime setting for everything from car commercials for Audi, Mitsubishi, and Hyundai to such top films as "The Soloist" and "The Dark Knight Rises." Jetset Extra met up with Aaron Ruby, camera staff assistant for the L.A. unit of "The Dark Knight Rises," at the corner of Grand Avenue and Third Street to talk about how the location served as a prime backdrop for the major summer blockbuster.
