You should be able to get a roll of LED tape light for $15-20. Cut it into 1' sections (you'll see the cut markings on the tape) and solder them, 4strips side by side on 4 small boards. You''ll then have four flood lights you can place wherever you need in the cabin. Since it's low voltage, the wire's minimal and easily rolls up when not in use. You can run 1-2 of them for DAYS off a single 12v, 100Ah battery. Those all-in-ones typically have "Tare Loss" due to their inverters, don't expect 100% efficiency from them Place the solar panel ~30deg angle facing S or W for best results
These little all in 1 power packs come in handy but it's better to build a system for a cabin. It's super easy and cheaper. Battery, inverter, charge controller and panels or generator.
I have a small 500W solar generator for emergencies. I can plug in an electric blanket for 12 hours and small appliances. Bought one for my son and his wife who live down south. I'd like to get a bigger one for my refrigerator. I also use battery operated candles at night to cut my electric bill. I bought a 6 pack for $24 at Costco. They will run all night for 2 1/2 weeks on AA batteries. Thanks for the video.
Solar is very expensive, can only use during well lit days, with a throw away replace long term way to generate electricity I use gravity 24/7 to charge drill batteries for all my needs at 20% of the cost of solar And it’s portable I can take batteries with me
@@tombrenes2411 Solar expensive? Not anymore. Getting cheaper and better by the month. I have less than $1000 in my entire system and I'm off grid thanks to Lifepo4 now cheaper than I could have ever dreamed of.
Thanks for sharing brother

Just wanted to ask out of curiosity why don't u make something to use the sunlight to light up the shed during day time like through the roof

Knife switch is cool looking, but I wouldn't use it for a-c as the contacts are exposed. Better suited for d-c current.
