How would you compare Da Nang to Cebu? How easy it is to make friends as an English only speaker, cost of rent/food and ease to get around, prettiness of girls, noise, beaches?
Never been to Cebu but everything is really great in Da Nang but there is definitely some language barrier, you can find westerners too but not the best place to meet people in English :)
When did you go there? I am there currently but it‘s always so cloudy, really not feeling going surfing.
I'm here since 3 weeks ago and yes it has been less sunny last days and smaller waves but I think it's getting better now!

Just back from Da Nang and also visited Nha Trang. Must admit i preferred Nha Trang as it was buzzing whereas Da Nang was very quiet. I probably stayed in the wrong part of town. Think An Thuong area is best.

Thanks man! They are so different. I wouldn't choose just one. Bali is more must experience tho but if possible it's nice to stay in both places :) When it's sunny season here, it's rainy in Bali!

What do you prefer Da Nang or Nha Trang ?
Nha Trang was more pretty city but Da Nang is nicer for longer stay as they have more nice restaurant, the ocean water is more clear, there's waves for surfing, etc.
