We do too. Luckily we have one that is probably less then a mile from our house. So we probably go get bolts all the time there. We also have an ace nearby. But it’s on the other side of town. Tractor supply is also alot cheaper!
I live between Cleveland and Akron and have a 2011 Xterra that I bought two years ago. Last fall I sprayed the underside of my truck with BP Blaster Surface Shield. I used about 3 cans. It seems to be holding up pretty well. I just recoated the frame last week. I'd love to meet up with you guys and hit some dirt road and easy trails sometime.
Definitely right down the road from us. We will have to get together sometime! And I’ll have to spray that Jeep with something very soon to help with the rust. Before last winter we did spray the inside of the frame with some fluid film. That seems like it did OK. Definitely need to get the body before next winter!
My 08 JKU has 187k currently and runs great. I use full synthetic royal purple for all the fluids. Everything seems to work better with that oil. Great content. Thank you for sharing.
What ever yall post is fun to watch. One of the best couples on the trail or garage. I tell my wife, a family that wheels together, stays together. Hope to see ya out there sometime. if ya ever make it to the Pacific North West, I got a couple trails for yall to try.
Thanks so much. That means a lot. We are just being ourselves too! And love that saying! And I definitely need to make it out there one of these years. But that’s a super long drive for us. But one day!
Oh and as for the endorsements, i 100% agree. I see my other fav offroad channels doing this and I'm like , hmm, must be nice to get free stuff but it lessens their brand, to me, so I just don't watch the episodes. So good on you for your ethics and commitment too. Gotta support local shops!!!!
Absolutely agree! I’ve always been hesitant to mention other companies because when other do it just sounds very fake and pushy. Thanks you so much for your support!
Clunks and rattles are a Jeeps way of letting you know all is good! Being from Illinois originally, I understand the rust thing. Illinois was all about salt in the winter, too. Lots and lots of salt. I hated salt!!!
Absolutely 😆. Every time I go out west or south I’m just shocked by how many older cars are on the road that still look good without all the rust holes like here.
Yeah buddy, gotta love living in the rust belt. I love watching all these RUclips'ers from the south and out west cry about rust. They spray a little penatrating oil on the bolt and spin it out. They don't know the struggle. Lol
Absolutely! I’m so jealous of those guys in the south and west. Like you said they really have no idea of what we have to deal with up here where getting a bolt out like that turns from a 10sec job to an hour job! Thanks for watching!
If the check engine light is on, you’re ok. If it suddenly goes off worry! My jkur had 86k on it. Never had any tranny problems. Oil coolers seem to be the biggest problems I hear about on the engines. Don’t need a nut if the bolt rusts inside the bushing!
Lol. Love it! And I’m really hoping we can get a few year out of that Jeep running easier trails. Without a huge issue. But they also made millions of those Jeeps so hopefully parts are easy to get. And that’s good ole Ohio for you, everything gets nice and rusty! 😂
The best thing to do with that muffler is delete it that’s what I did sounds decent and doesn’t hit anything anymore….. totally understand about endorsing other companies just for free gear but finding companies that you truly like and already use is the way to go…… and y’all should try to get with other RUclipsrs and do a colab to help get the channel out to more people
Thanks man! And I’ll check out the muffler delete! And I’ve been approached by a decent amount of smaller companies that would give me free product and I’ve always said no. Then I see other RUclips/Instagramers posting about this product being the best and I just laugh. And I do agree. I definitely need to get with other YTers to get more eyes on the channel. I’ve reached out to a couple over in the NE region and seems like I get blown off. But I’ll keep trying. 😂
Love Tractor Supply for getting bolts!

Thanks for the shout out. Glad to help. Gotta love that Ohio rust !!
No problem man! Thanks! I’ll probably be coming down in a couple weeks for more parts soon. I love Ohio so much. (Sarcasm)

I’m in Ontario Canada, so I know salt. We have oil spraying companies up here that just spray your vehicle to combat the rust.
I hate salt with a passion. 😆. And we have some shops that do those sprays here too. I’ll definitely be getting it done before next winter.
