  • This is edited highlights from a film made about the Australian Pacific Embroidery Festival held in 1984 in Sydney by the Embroiderers' Guild NSW.
    It includes interviews with workshop tutors Ann-Marie Bakewell, Alison Snepp and Effie Mitrofanis, all of whom continue to be active in the Guild. It also features Prue Socha and Pat Langford whose work is held in many public and private collections. An interview with gallerist, art collector and benefactor Elinor Wrobel introduces the first major exhibition by the now renowned textile art supremo Annemeike Mein.
    The film's host is Heather Joynes and her husband Jack Joynes made the film. Known copies are held by the Embroiderers' Guild NSW.
