I agree with your take on Jones, Fultz, and Dinwiddie. If we can sign Jones I am happy. If we stay internal, Ivey would be my choice and it would create more floor time for Ivey with better spacing.
Think your ratings are spot on, Tyus Jones seems like a super solid point guard and a great choice (but it might be a difficult to attract him to detroit, he might want to go to contender as the backup?). For Ivey though, it's tough. Like Sasser, he doesn't seem to currently have a point guard's mindset. He got better at the end of the year, but is more of a scorer than a person who sees the entire floor. But, maybe if they keep working him as the PG, it'll finally click (but we'll have to take a few more losses before it does).
I would take probably either Jones or Dinwiddie to back up Cade. Also, the back of the hat you were wearing in this video looks like one I have with the adjustable strap. Is it by chance a Pistons hat you were wearing?
I'm not touching Dinwiddie. Dude would come in thinking he's better than anybody on the team, that's exactly why he can't stay with any good teams. Lakers, Dallas, when Brooklyn was good, he didn't fit in those locker rooms for a reason. Nope
Jones is a good option. Ivey was held back last season in his development by Monty so I want to see what he does this year. I like Jenkins in the SL, but that's wishful thinking. Jenkins most likely needs more time to develop as well in the G league.
Mills makes sense. I feel pretty confident JB will stagger Ivey and Cade and those two will do the majority of on ball creation so bringing in someone who needs 20+ minutes creates way more problems than it solves You can’t have 10-11 guys who all expect to play
In a way Ivey is the most important player on the team because hes a top scorer and starting sg but then has to be ready to take on pg if CC gets hurt and I feel like that is a high probabliiity
I've always thought it should be Ivey but how do you stagger those minutes while making sure he gets some kind of consistency in the game. minutes get weird real fast. I feel like if Cade is healthy then just play Ivey at the 2 full time. If and when CC gets hurt then move Ivey to pg, he's the best pg we have after Cade and has proven he can dish, he did it his whole first season while CC was out.
I wanted DLo or Monk. Tyus Jones would be a solid alternative. But most Pistons fans scream at the possibility of anyone sharing PG responsibility with Cade.
Tyus Jones did lead assist to turnover ratio. 7.2:1 or something like that. Almost a full assist above Chris Paul's 6.3:1 or something of the sort
I'm in agreement. I would add Jones to start with Cade and let Ivey run the point off the bench.
I think Ivey would be amazing off the bench for us.

Jones wants to be a starter. He has always been a top backup while being amongst the best in assist/turnover ratio.

Tyus would start. Just pay him.

Danoris Jenkins
My thoughts exactly
Fulks best option can bring versatility
Ivey should play the 1 off the bench with Sasser , Fonicio at 3 4 I got Stu Reed at the 5
Stew should start, he's a lot better than Duren.
Dennis Schroder from brooklyn into cap space for 2nd round picks

Tim Hardaway and Malik Beasley in the back as a shooting guard, Sasser as a point guard
Starting with Cade and Ivey
Sasser is not a point guard and never will be. That choice guarantees failure.
Killian Hayes is the fryman at the 8 mile McDonalds. He says he might be free.
Clearly Detroit is after veteran insurance. There are a couple available. Devonte Graham and Patty Mills would not be here to play regular minutes.
Crazy that Graham will be turning 30 this season, I didn’t even realize that until you mentioned him as a vet. Time is flying.
Mills makes sense.

@@michaelahurt exactly. We just need insurance policy. Someone who knows what they are doing.
@@JacobPistons He also has always sucked.

He's not a top scorer, and ideally he's not a starter.

Pat Bev needs to skip that foreign stuff & sign with Detroit
How about getting a starting point guard. Cade aint it. 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

Dude sthu ... You know nothing about sports..
Hater you’re stupid Cade 23 and 7 is a good pg

Cade is it, and you are extremely stupid.
