A classic country song recorded by many of the great singers including , of course, George Jones, played here on the pedal steel guitar. www.tonybrownepsg.com
Learning that Tony Browne is no longer with us leaves a big hole in many hearts but his music will live on in perpetuity. It is said that if you mention a person’s name, they will never be forgotten. Playing his music does that very thing.Thank you for leaving us with this Tony and know that we’re listening.
Proper country music , i have a romantic vision of an 18 wheel kenworth truck driving through New Mexico up to Montana with this blasting over the speakers with my dog asleep on the bunk bed ok its a dream but the music is real long live country and well played sir.
What a beautiful sound of a steel guitar..I was blessed with a Mom, that could play a steel guitar..Plus in her days she had an all girl country band ❤...Now she's in heaven playing with the angels 😇..I miss and love. You Mom....
@@mikeuyeda2330 Country music has lost an ICON with Tony, He has made many days better for me with his music!!! I know he is still playing in heaven!!!
It does my heart good to see these folks, who have this marvelous talent, sharing it with us regular folks who can't keep time or play an instrument so well.
Superb, awesome indeed, beautiful hand control, so realistic. It can't get better than this. Where have these great music gone, a great flash back to the great days gone by. May God help us.
'She Thinks I Still Care" was my introduction to George Jones around 50 years ago now! You bring a freshness to this country standard without going crazy so it's still very much recognisable for the classic that it is and will always remain. Thank you for playing and posting.
It would be so nice to turn my radio on and get "real" music like this, in stead of the the junk they call music today. To me the steel sounds the best, and you in my estimation are at the top. Please never let it die. Thanks for this video.
God bless you Tony browne one of UK s most talented players and such an inspiration to me .I'm 7yrs in on it lost my mojo due to a works accident 👂 hearing aids now , but every time his videos pop up it gives me hope I can move on , continue ,pick one chord at a time 👍👏👏👏👏🏴🏴🇬🇧🙏
Your playing on this one is truly wonderful - tasteful and beautiful throughout. It's a real pleasure to have found your site. Thank you for all the lovely tunes.
Great version. I’ve always loved the steel guitar (even though I don’t know how to play one). It brings the real old country music alive as so does the fiddle. I do play acoustic guitar on all the old country songs I grew up to. Play more videos like this please
Tony, You are keeping the "Steel" tradition alive and well. The country music being played today is off the wall terrible. They need to listen to your sound and remember where it all started.
Heard my first steel at a honkytonk cowboy bar called the Quabbin Club just outside of Amherst, MA back In The 50s when I was stationed at Westover AFB. Loved it ever since .
Tony, as always that is beautiful playing. You sure make that Bud sound pretty. I think I listen to you play more than anyone else. I love every thing you do. With the help of our friend J Russell, Maybe I'll be able to play it like I should. Many thanks and keep up all your fantastic playing. Carl "Lucky" Kilmer
Thanks Carl, always appreciate your comments. John has put a lot work into the tabs and always does a great job. I wouldn't know to start. I'm a total ear player so the playing side and making the tracks comes easy but writing it down would take me forever. Cheers Tony
