Man my knees buckle and it's mesmerizing to watch her body language and hear her sing ! she is so cool and sexy especially on "Dress" I admire the way she uses dynamics with her vocals. As a SESAC affiliate songwriter & Publisher myself for seventeen years now I've met some really talented female guitarists/writers and she is one of the most prolific writers & musicians I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. An original for sure and... mmm just beautiful beyond words.
Raw & guttural sound ... loving the sheer aggression / menace of the delivery ... tempered with a smiling Polly between songs ( not enough of this around these days ) ... great performance all round.

GOD! I saw P.J. Harvey play in Sydney, at the Enmore Theatre if I recall correctly, in the first decade of the millennium. It was good, I'm sure, but I'd swap it for this gig in a heartbeat - what a show!

I love all her personas but this (I call her the bride of Frankenstein) is one of my favorites & those unh huh her songs sound so awesome fleshed out. she made most of them almost sparse like demos, so to hear who the fuck as a whole band is just mind blowing and makes me punky & happy. ❤❤ a goddess. Really.
