In regard to the Typhoon.... did you remove the mic? I thought it was hard wired to the control panel? Also, can the Typhoon's controller be flush mounted? I looks like there is a large connector behind the head unit?

Same here have owned Crown vics and impala police cars in past. Not a large fan of Dodge, But have seen the '11+newer Hemi Chargers for as low as $6-7K !!! I'm VERY tempted at getting one next year !!!

Ben Howe As long as you don't activate the siren on public roads I don't see it as a issue & for the flashing lights they are only white, tow trucks have yellow & sometimes white lights, they don't need any special permits or authorization. So the only issue might be the siren, but if your not caught using it illegally it shouldn't matter, speed limits are set but all cars can double or triple that limit if they wish.

Rambow Restoration is a 24 hour emergency restoration company. They respond to fire damage and natural disaster damage. This is a great car for them!
That doesn't explain why they need a drag strip car with illegal lights and siren though. If there's a natural disaster that thing isn't getting far.

As long as he doesn't use the lights and siren on the road, it is completely legal, and the Hellcat isn't a "drag strip car"..
You don't need lights and Sirens to respond to fires after the fact the guy's just a wannabe cop or firefighter. As a 20-year veteran firefighter in New York and as a 9/11 first responder this kind of wacker drives me nuts if you want to play with lights and sirens become a cop or fireman.

Oh my god. Every person who owns a fast car and likes to go to "Mexico"s worst nightmare. You'd have to be a VERY special kind of stupid to try and evade this a cop driving this thing. Unless you're driving a 1000HP+ car (and even then, it'd be hard) you have little to no chance of successfully evading.
