"Every boy wants to save the world but no-one wants to help mom with the dishes." What a great quote to highlight the need to honor God by honoring the wife and mother in the home. That is where it starts!
I loved Wade’s contributions on Louder with Crowder. Seeing him contributing to Canon Press and collaborating with Doug Wilson is nothing short of awesome. Good man, good beard.
I was *not* expecting that getting into Doug Wilson videos was going to lead me to discovering what Audio Wade has been up to after leaving LWC. What a small world.
(for next week) what is your method for reading many books fast while still retaining what has been read? (note taking, annotating, ect...) and what are the most important books for believers?
I’ve been trying to help un-“woken” some friends and family and leaders from my childhood church who I have become shocked to learn have gone full woke…by trying to point them back to the inerrancy and sufficiency of scripture and how blatantly anti-biblical all these woke tenets are; but they keep just accusing me of being unloving and judgemental and self-righteous. Do you have any advice for helping show people the way out of the woke matrix they’re living in?
Take what God has given you- power, love, and a sound mind- and be courage in continuing to proclaim the truth of God’s Word. You be faithful and keep on 💪🏽
@Caleb Miller ask them is it loving to indulge overweight people by calling it "body positivity" inspite of the fact that they are vulnerable to lots of health complications and are most likely to be negatively affected by the Coof? Is it loving to focus on the grievances real and imagined of minorities while ignore personal responsibility and at the end of the day calling oneself "a good person". Remind them that selective justice is not justice at all.
There really is a grave need for faithful churches. The lack of faithfulness in out previous church was primary impetus to our joining our current CREC church. Many states have no CREC churches. Our state has only one. As I look to a retirement homestead location the churches available are the prime factor but many churches that I would have previously considered have been outed over these last two years. In particular all of the ARP churches I had considered bowed to Caesar and continue to do so.
A hatred of children, especially having children, is endemic in our secular society. Can you address the trend in the church to discourage having children and large families? We recently had our whole family together for a marriage a one of our children- all 10 children and 22 grandchildren - which is nearly impossible to orchestrate, given that half our children are in Washington Oregon and Montana, and the other half here in Florida.
The problem of Doug's response to the statement of the Lord Jesus "My kingdom is not of this world" is that the Lord did not make that statement from heaven. He was in this world. The hearers of the Lord's statement would have understood the statement in its literal sense. Hence the continued consternation of the disciples right up to the day of the ascension. "When will you resort the promised kingdom to Israel?" is one of their final questions. The answer was not never. The answer was " It is not yours to know times or seasons, which the Father has placed in his own authority...". There will be an earthly kingdom. It is just not our purview to know when.
Not at that section yet, but I would guess that the answer is 'in the new heaven and the new earth, where the New Jerusalem is built'. That is the sanctification of creation and its glorification completed.
@@andrewclover1462 , Doug, as a post millennialist, believes that Christ's kingdom is here and now. He acknowledges that there are other views held in Christendom. He just does not hold them. I love Doug on most things but his eschatology is weak tea for me. All promises to Israel are not absorbed by the church in my reading of Scripture. I also see dominionist in what I heard in his response. That one makes me more nervous.
Under what circumstances would you Biblically condone organized violence against enemies of the gospel? Has there been a holy war that was actually holy? (in the Christian age)
I believe Jesus made it clear that His kingdom is not of this world and we are not to use physical forces to fight our enemies. Because as Paul said that our enemies is not flesh and blood, but spiritual enemies, principalities, powers, dominions in the air. So the Church is different from the physical nation of Israel, whom God gave them order to clear out the land and its evil through physical means. Jesus also said that if we are persecuted in one city, then flee to the other. Paul and Barnabas did just that. So I think the Bible is clear on this point that the Church is not to use physical violence against its flesh and blood enemies.
Thanks for having a chop at my question Doug, bless you and your family brother and may the Lord God keep you near to him in these wild. 🤜 plenty of us Aussies have your back..
This is a question for either of you, Wade or Pastor Doug: In your estimation, is Steven Crowder a brother? I know he professes faith and pretty much defends and backs it up, but his free use of profanity and crude humor have sometimes made we question. I wondering what your thought would be?
@Goblin Demon I don’t really understand what you are trying to get across. The scriptures are clear: Luke 6:45 - “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”, Ephesians 4:29 - “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”, Ephesians 5:4 - “Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.” Its not my own personal moralizing, because very clearly Pastor Doug is not PC while still maintaining decorum and wholesome talk, so I am wondering how they would discern in this situation, whether they think Crowders words and actions betray his profession or not (especially since Wade worked closely with him).
Wade is a really good interviewer here. His follow- up questions really help elucidate the issue. P.S. If I ever wanted to destabilize a totalitarian government, my number one priority would be making sure the Gospel is spread throughout its borders. Of course, that would cause problems for my totalitarian take- over, but I don't have one of those ready yet, so I'm fine with that.
I knew it, I knew it. Something was weird with Doug. I finally put my finger on it. Heretic likes his steak cooked medium, or worse medium well. I'm done. 😏
Was kind of unfortunate that some of us had serious, well-thought-out questions that would have been perfect for Doug, that we've been wanting to ask Doug for literally years, and the interviewer decided to ask about steak.
Your thinking Jesus just came 2000 years ago probably and seen is funny David could call him son and call him Father is truth modern out lookers can't grasp, Neville Goddard knew the stories in the Bible wasn't history, your blind to I AM and who you are.
It’s Audio Wade!!! Miss seeing him on LWC

I knew when "Audio Wade" left Crowder, and was said to be going to Idaho, that is Mr. Wilsons way. Great to see....

Doug and Wade on my television... at the same time ❤️.

SO helpful, please keep doing this Pastor Wilson and Wade!
Man! This is a good watch! You guys have some really good words of wisdom here! Excellent work gentlemen!
"Stupidity is not a long range strategy." This is why I love Doug Wilson.
Great show. Nice job expanding on the questions. Thanks!
Shout out to Audio Wade!
This was great!
Very insightful Q & A. Thank you for the good content.
Outstanding. Thanks for sharing this.
Thank you brothers for answering my question.

We loved this!
When is the next Q and A?? I must plan for it - I have questions!
Pretty sure they are doing every Tuesday during November. There is a calendar of events on Doug's blog.
Just watched that 2 hour qa. Oh man, oooooooh man
Is Mr. Wilson aware of the Hebrew Roots, Torah Observant movements. If so has he critiqued them?
How do you interpret phrases such as "end of the age," "this age," "in the last days," when they don't all seem to fit either the end of time or AD70?
Medium-well?! I didn’t see that coming

So many have turned to "pet worship" rather than having children. I can't stand the term "fur baby". It makes me want to puke...
Your family illustrates the point, as does mine ( 5 kids, 5 spouses and only 6 grandkids).
