Big Signal fan here too. The only thing that bothered me with the Signal is the part serrated blade. I think that why the Arc really spoke to me with the tool selection and good quality blade (with a thumbstud!). Ordered one and waiting for it to arrive.
Every single implement on the Arc is seriously flawed, as are the frame and scales. Leatgerman has other, better versions of most of the Arc's implements. The Arc's Magnacut blade is the absolute lowest, to the point that is is just expensive steel. It is too thick and the wrong profile, also. Give me a use case for the Arc's saw. It is useless, and only cuts in one direction.
Definetly thinking about picking one up for Black Friday. hope they go on sale
Never owned a leatherman, but bought this. Impressed so far.
It’s such a great tool to have at any time!

The Signal is prone to falling apart.
I’ve had my signal for 7 years. Nothings fallen apart on it.
I own 7 Leatherman's and this one is by far my favorite
160 if you can get the military discount….unbeatable at that price
Medical professional discount also
The Surge is superior in almost every way outside of the Magnacut blade.
Right ! I know a lot of people would buy a premium surge with upgraded knife steel I would in a heart beat.
I think you’re neat and I want one of these now!
Hey Thanks Buddy! You won’t regret it
I agree! This guys is a cool guy! Almost as cool as this multi tool!
