- The Bronco Raptor is a true Ford Performance product. Under the hood is a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. On the outside you get bigger fender flares, 35in tires and hard to roof. On the inside there are performance sport seats, full digital gauge display and a special steering wheel. $107K? Isn’t MSRP only $70K? So this dealership has a $37K markup. Only give business to dealerships that sell at MSRP. This dealership is clearly price gouging customers.
I sincerely wish that the dealerships that charge insane markups like that would go out of business. Sadly theres always someone desperate enough to get bent over.

In many ways it's frustrating being a car enthusiast. There are so many amazing vehicles being made yet there is the painful reality of dealing with markups and the usual painful process of buying from a dealer. It seems like every exciting vehicle that is released like this Bronco Raptor comes an anxious tension that I'll need to fork over an extra $30k just to get my hands on one. At the end of the day it's hard to stomach. I believe that dealerships will cause more and more buyers to give up and buy a Tesla.
If you can afford a Tesla though, you can buy a capable Bronco.
The bottom will be dropping out of the car market soon. Problem is you may not have the money to buy anything because you will be unemployed an interest rates will be 20%. FJB

I completely agree with this. What a time to be alive and be a car enthusiast! What a terrible time to try and buy one! Dealer mark ups, limited production, high interest rates. I really want a Heritage manual bronco. Zero chance of finding one, let alone Msrp for a year or two, or ever? I looked at the landscape and did as said. We bought a Tesla Model Y LR, and the buying experience online was a simple, amazing experience.

This competes with the Wrangler 392. The V8 exhaust note of the 392 intoxicating. It puts a grin on your face every time your floor the fun pedal😁
The next step for the bronco to get is the bronco r. Drop the 5.2 supercharged V8 in this will be crazy

This is what Ford should have had from day one. This is the real deal. Good luck getting one of these though. I had a 21 on reservation and gave up after a year. I have an F-150 Tremor now.

Bronco Raptor has a nice ring to it. Prefer the 2 door in terms of looks but this works too. Jeeps are the norm for off roading and are fun to drive. Liking the exterior lighting, the color Area 51, put some killer wheels on it and/or maybe a light bar just for starters!

@Bryan Washington you are 100% correct about the 2 door! I have a new Eruption Green 2 door Bronco Wiltrak on 37 inch GY Wranglers and EVERYONE stops to check it out. Not because it is a Bronco, but because the 2 door looks so monstrous on 37s lol, especially with the beautiful aftermarket offroad bumpers! Today even an old lady complimented it, in the grocery store parking lot 🤣
I have 2 friends with 4 doors on 37s, but my 2 door gets all the attention!

I would definitely buy this over a wrangler. My ex-wife had a wrangler and I thought it was pretty cheesy didn’t have much in it. It was very sporty and it was a Sahara I believe.
My fiance had a Wranger Rubicon, when we met. I had a 4Runner TRD Off Road as my adventure rig. I found the Wrangler's handling to be bad, it had terrible on-road performance, it would always sway left or right on highway driving requiring constant steering wheel input to stay in a lane. It also tossed you around in your seat, on mild trails.

For the price, I would like to see the 3.5L HO Eco boost instead of the 3.0L. However, that thing still gets up and goes! It's not like I can afford something like this. Maybe when I retire and don't have to support my kid and parents.

I had a 2019 F150 raptor it was a beautiful truck but it really didn’t fit my driving style. I traded it in on a 2019 dodge challenger hellcat redeye. Now that’s my kind of car!

This is the way to succeed going forward in the auto biz; create a product that is narrowly focused on a specific customer use (in this case, tearing around in the wilderness and desert), and go as extreme as you can get. Then price isn't such an issue, and the customers are happy and not even thinking about the competitors. A monster vehicle. Shameful that the stealerships are adding such big markups.

the price over msrp is astonishing. ford cannot be happy dealerships do this. (nor can any manufacturer) volvo does not do this. at least that know of. get a polestar2. not in the same realm .. but also 15mpg? that's egregious in 2023.
Nice review Joe. If I could have any Bronco I would pick a Badlands non Sasquatch Area 51 manual tranny with hardtop and towing package. I would gladly pay MSRP, but not a penny over. As you know my requirements would be laughed at by any dealer at the moment due to supply constraints. Too bad Ford can’t build enough of these as they are missing out on boo-koo bucks $$$ !!!
The interior looks great in this version. Ford offered some weird combinations of colors in the beginning and people were freaking out. Nice that Ford woke up.

I'd buy this before buying a Jeep, except I can't afford either one. I can't even drive due to a brain injury so I guess it doesn't matter anyway. I love the look of it inside and out. Love the dash set-up too. Thanks for all your videos, they keep me from going crazy at times, because I miss driving cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. Sometimes I have dreams of driving and walking and normally in my dream, the vehicle looks just like this Bronco Raptor.

here's someone that has had 10 jeeps including hemi and even custom LS swapped. 4 raptors trx etc etc etc. I will say the truth is that this Bronco is by far the BEST 4x4 compared to ANY jeep i have bought stock. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
