My little pug has issues with eating fast too, and it causes him to get reflux. I have started to feed him 4 times a day, so very small meals. I also put his food in a kong sometimes because it takes him a long time to get it out. I would love to have fresh flowers in my home, but I have two naughty cats that destroy the flowers and tip the water onto the floor. lol! Your friend is very fortunate to have someone like you in her life to go to such detail for her present, lucky friend!!

@@AndreeaLeea yes, I have a lick mat for him too which also works wonderfully. It just depends on what I feed him. He gets a variety of canned and raw food. The raw is air dried so I put it in a bowl similar to Milo's. The canned food goes in his kong or his lick mat. He is spoiled with love

Can I suggest something?:) I hope you don't mind at all :) I suggest that just fill your flower vase with only 2 inches of water, enough for the flower stems to absorb water and to avoid rotting the half stem of the flowers sooner. Then that allows you also to just cut the rotten part whenever you change the water inside the vase:)
